Play a few rounds with the free ball or the Tour-SD ball. Then go back to your Callaway. It's just a timing thing.  :-)

Obviously reaction time may be playing a part...possibility that the mouse response delays it slightly...But whatever it is..I use my own way to combat these possibilities and it seems to work..50% ding rate at least.

Take note of the average amount u are missing the ding by...and simply draw a line on your screen that distance before the ding line and try to click on that...works for me ;)

P.S....Also it is a good idea to try and level out your entire club set to the same or as close as possible meter speed, this has been covered in many posts from peeps who know their business..is very sound advice.

    Severiano Ballesteros

I take meter all way left and I let it go I say "Severiano Ballesteros" then I click. I hits the ding most times. Maybe you have slower or faster meter so you look for another name

    Hi Pringle,

I know the feeling you are having about stopping after the "ding".  Try this, it has worked for me.  Position yourself a little more to either side of the monitor facing it at more of an angle.  I know it sounds funny, but it has worked for me.  I now hit the "ding" about 90% of the time.

Let me know if this works please?

    Thought it was just me...

Have chair a touch left of the moniter and it seems you look into the ding line rather than at it.

Gr8 tip -- I wonder how many others do it or what other 'positioning' methods are used..

    My method:

    1. Before the swing, determine exactly where in the 'ding line' area you want to 'pull the trigger'. This may or may not be the ding line itself - if there is any significant crosswind I like to miss the ding on the side the wind is blowing from

    2. Make the back-swing (apply meter power) ...

    3. At start of downswing, follow meter with eyes briefly to see if it's moving smoothly; if not, TAKE YOUR HAND OFF OFF THE MOUSE and let it be a practice swing ...

    4. If meter movement is smooth, quickly move your visual focus to the point you want to click ...

5, With that desired click-point at the center, of your visual focus, 'relax' your gaze and, when the moving meter comes into view from the left, start your clicking motion and accelerate into it to finish the click as the meter hits that desired spot.

    I call it meter zen.

Side note: use only positive mental cues, never negative ones. Think about what what you want to do, never about what you don't want to do. Never think 'Don't be late!', as your mind will retain only the 'be late' part, and 90% of time you'll get just that result. Better mental cue: 'Be a bit early!'
