dang, this is funny .. discussing ding methods is almost like discussing a pre-swing routine IRL ..

i've got my own little eccentric routine that works for me .. i use a armless office chair & mount the sucker cowboy style .. with my chest leaning against the backrest .. nice support .. lol

i draw my swing mtr horizontally instead of vertically .. before i release i turn my head slightly to the right .. almost like Andy's facing the screen at a slight angle i would imagine .. i make sure that my line of sight on the ding line is not to the right of the ding line ..

on release i quickly zip my swing mtr icon so that the bottom arrow sits on top of the ding line, giving me a visual focal point ..

i don't focus directly on the ding line, but on the mtr icon above it, so the prgression of the mtr bar towards the ding line is caught by my peripheral vision ..

    works for me

I'm "always" stopping past the meter, what's my problem ?

    Thanx :)))

All depends on how your clicking, does the meter always run on a tad or are you just clicking late?

if the meter runs on a line or 2 after you click theres many reasons that cause this,

#1 wireless mice i know some use them with no probs but i have never found a good 1 that responds when i click

#2 what desktop theme do you have, many find that windows aero theme causes the meter to run on, (right click desktop and then personalize then select a windows basic high contrast theme) iv given this advice to peeps b4 and its amazing what it does

#3 (if your clicking late) u need either slower clubs or a ball with more feel, or a new finger any of the 3 will work :)

.  Position yourself a little more to either side of the monitor facing it at more of an angle.

This is quite effective when you're having a "off" day dinging. Whether it be on a laptop or a desktop, if you find yourself having a hard time hitting the ding, move the screen or laptop just enough to change your eye angle to the meter. If anything, it forces you to focus a little differently and this does make a difference.  :-)

^ This idea works. I'm right eye dominant so I position myself with my right eye lined up with the ding line. I also only click for the hit on an exhale.
