  How are these balls different from the ball I already have in my bag?

  The golf balls for sale in the Pro Shop will give you some additional benefits over the basic ball you are given when you create an account. The new balls can give you additional distance, spin and feel. 
  
  Purchased balls also have a durability factor and they will wear out as you use them.

  What types of balls are available?

  By default, you get a standard unlimited WGT ball when you join World Golf Tour. You can purchase additional balls with different enhancements to use in the game in our virtual Pro Shop. Most WGT balls come in 10 different colors.

  You can see all of the attributes of the balls in the Pro Shop. They are Distance, Spin, Feel and Durability.
  
  
  
  Distance: Will display the increase in distance you will receive using the ball 
  
  Spin: Will display the increase in spin you will receive using the ball 
  
  Feel: A ball with a Feel rating will decrease the speed of the swing meter when the ball is used 
  
  Durability: Will display how many hits the ball can absorb before being taken out of play

  What is the ball durability limit?

  Each ball can only be used for a limited number of shots. The number of hits will be tracked and displayed on the swing interface in the game under the HITS meter. This will give you an estimate of how many hits you have left with that ball. Putts are not counted as a hit to the ball.
  
  
  
  When you have 25% durability left on your ball, the HITS meter will turn red.
  
  

  What happens if I run out of balls during a round?

  When you reach the hit limit for the ball you are using it will be replaced automatically with a new ball of the same type and color. If you do not have any more of the ball type and color in your inventory then the Basic ball will be inserted. The Basic ball is the ball provided to you when you first start playing WGT. Once you play with the Basic ball you cannot change balls during your round.

  What happens if I lose a ball Out of Bounds or in a Water Hazard?

  If you hit a ball OB or into a Water Hazard that ball will be removed and will be replaced with a new ball of the same type and color if you have one. If not, it will be replaced with the Basic ball.

  How do I know when my ball has been replaced?

  A message will be displayed when the ball you were using has been taken out of play and replaced.
  
  

  Can I purchase new balls during my round?

  Yes, you can visit the Pro Shop during your round to replenish the ball you are using. If you lose your last ball of a specific type and color you can purchase new ones in the Pro Shop but will not be able to use them in your current round if you have already switched to the Basic ball.

  Will I ever run out of the Basic ball?

  No, you have an unlimited inventory of the Basic ball.

  I purchased 2 sets of new balls consisting of 3 each--i lost 2 balls total and WGT says I have no more  balls left---WGT gets to eat the big lunch on my behalf----so take your game site and put it where the sun don't shine -------good bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  please drop us an email so they can check your account. if you bought 6 balls and lost 2, you should have 4 left unless they are used up in normal play.

  Luckily for you WGT didn't shove their game where the sun don't shine seeing as how you're stll enjoying it.

  Now you're a Legend of 33 months, member of a best renowned CC, and after about 1000 days in the game you whine about the dollars you (may) have spent?

  Quite interesting - would you care to speak about the fun and the benefits you received on this site?

  LOL,  the title of some of these discussions are something else.  I seen that it was resurrected and thought of this scene in the movie "Billy Madison".

   

  Just substitute WGT in place of Donkey kong in this short video.  :)

  Wgt wil lsteal a ball every chance they get wind  behind u19 mph left hit left ball goes right into the water a 100 yd shot to the pin water in front wiid behind u hit 70 yads ball is in the water this is not a fluke they want to screw u

  Collateral damage, just lost one myself on a hole that I have not lost a ball in over 2 years. Dead center fairway, 27 yards to cup, hit it over 30 yards and it goes less than 5 yards and into the burn. Get used to it, will happen when you least expect it. On a dinged shot with less than 20% bs, using the top wedges. Can ya say WTF?

  Good man   WGT started cheating   back in 2009  and they gotten worse
