    Oldbayrunner:

And I apologize to you Bogey and your CC for posting that in your recruitment thread.

It is all good, Oldbay.  Things are going very well.  Senior Citizens is picking up an average of 2 to 3 new members everyday since I put this topic to the forum.

More good news for the club.  Senior Citizens is now ranked 25th in earnings among clubs based in the United States and there is an abundance of clubs around. Not bad for a bunch of old folks.

    Regards,

    Martin

Very interested. I'm 70, a retired veteran, competitive minded, and need something to keep me busy when it is too cold to play the real game! This looks like a CC where I could fit in.

    G. L. Thomson

Would like to know a bit more about the club - are there women members who are active?  Don't necessarly want to only play women members, but they have the best viewpoint to what kind of guys are in the club.  I like to golf, talk, meet people, and have fun.  Am not on WGT lookingfor gifts or relationships.  Is there such a club out there?

We have had a few women members in the past.  Currently there are two.  One is very active.  The other plays every once in a while but if you catch her in the game, she will accept invites for games.  Her wgt name is twopence.

    Hi BogeyOne,

It seems this is the only place to let you know I left the CC but am still getting messages from your forum.

Please take me off your list.

    Thank you

The only way that I figure this would happen is if when you replied to a topic in the club forum, you checked the "Email me replies to this post" box.  So, what I just did was to go through the forum and remove all topics in which you had been a participant.

That should take care of things.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi Bogie One, I was a member of your club at onetime. I have come a long ways since then. I think I would be better off in a club for older folks. I am very active, usually play everyday. If you think I would fit in, send me an invite. Thanks,

    coolsenior(Dick).

On its way, Dick.  Welcome back.  I think you will find the club has really progressed.

That would be fine with me. I did check the box for replies but don't know where to find it to uncheck it.
