    recently, in multi player games, i've made an effort to express comments with actual words :)

    to me, it's not so difficult, and just a little show of respect to people.  I'll say, nice shot rather than ns for example.  Or, what a great hole from tee to cup green team.  That sort of thing.

    so.....give it a try sometime.  It really can liven up a chat........and often times makes me feel less like a chat robot lol.

    go for it :)

    +1 ;->

    You are right, it becomes stereotype, ns - ty - nb - nb p - +1 - tys - ty P!...

    Sometimes in Skype talk, we even speak in abb's...

    So, I support the move to full language, if only in between!

    I started in computers in 1965 and I can not type. I'm a key pecker and don't do that very good I have never needed to do any typing to speak of and I see no reason to learn at this stage. In the good ole BBS days we started the shorthand of talking and I have never met anyone that takes offense. New people learn this quickly and all but a few I have found that are non-English speaking, pick it up quickly. It is a nice thought, but not for me. Please do not take this offensively.

    It totally depends on number of players and shot timer for me. I like to mix it up though ;)
