I've made it two times but didn't save it.

If you are playing to score, it is better to just play to 3 feet.  If you want to make it on fast greens you have to risk going 12 feet by.

    TWOMINUSONE:

Here you go Oldstir, but this hole number 2 is wedged in.

Thanks for showing me that TWOMINUSONE  but exactly what club did you use? Because using a 49W-Punch does not land the ball any way close to as softly as yours landed. So did you use a Full 60-Wedge or some other Wedge and just drastically reduce the power or what? Because I also tried a 60-Wedge but couldn't get that wedge to land soft enough either. Nice to see it can be done though but it's still Not A Putt and a Putting challenge should not allow Wedges, IMO. :)

Also I'm intrigued how you make those video replays and how you're able to show one shot after another like that. Wow! Do you use your own special software to do that?

The shot can be seen in the video Oldstir. I used a 60 yard cleveland wedge, put it to the puch shot, which gives you 50 yards on the full power. I then choked down to just under the last avatar movement, which is about  45 yards on that punch shot.

To make the video, i use a programe called Bandicam. it can be downloaded, and is only a screenshot type of device. It records what you are doing on your PC screen as you are doing it. When you save the recorded game, you can then move it over to Microsoft movie maker and save it. Then all you have to do after that is download it to Utube.

I might add to that as well. Watch where i hit my shot on the power bar on the 2nd hole. I did not move the pointer, as i left it at the flag. I then hit the shot at (or near) the line before the DING line.

Sometimes a chip on the green is the only way to get to a hole,I have been on (kidney shaped)greens in real life situations and had to chip,no other way to get to the hole, chipping on a green is not against any PGA rules but some CC's do not like it at all...oh well...

Yep I did that with my lousy 60-yd wedge which is a Punch-49-yards for me AND tried THAT every which way too but No Chance. So it must be that the Cleveland grabs better which also makes the Good balls land softer and also resist the break better? Thanks for the Bandicam tip too in case I can afford it sometime. :)

As I just said; I did that too. So I guess it's just something you need all the right equipment for? Now I'd like to see if anyone Aced #2 using Starter balls? LOL

BTW, does WGT ever change the pin placements or the distances or the break on any of the Putting holes or are they always the same?

But here's something weird. My best putt on #8 is below:

But why does my replay show that it's hole #7 instead of #8 or have I lost my marbles? :) The 260-foot putt is #8, right? Again I appreciate all your assistance. Kind regards.

Oldstir, the Bandicam is a free download. And you should have some sort of Movie maker that came with your PC/Laptop as well. You dont need any funds to set it up, its all there for you. You can download the Bandicam from the link below:

    smooohh:

i have heard people refer to avatar movement as a means of aiming a shot; can someone please explain what this is or how it is done?

Avatars have a distinct movement number. For example the Male and Female Avatar with the driver have 11 moves. With the putter the female has 3 moves and the male has 2. Some people use these movements to calculate the distance that each move means.
