Don't know about America but here in the UK I've yet to meet a business who doesn't offer a deal regarding bulk buys etc

Has EVERYONE forgotten the holiday deals we ran and are currently running?!?!

I'm at a loss. Among the ever growing spirit of generosity, here is a thread of people asking for more.

How about something truly free like this?

To be clear, I'm not asking for any free gift and I don't care. Those holiday balls are still sitting in my bag.

If you are asking "What holiday promotions will be running on Christmas?"

Then you need to log in to find out :)  Feel free to criticize our promotions, but don't jump the gun, there are more to come - the holiday season has barely started!

I am not WGT. I am not a company. I am a person who posts on this forum. I would ask that you show the same respect that I give.

EXACTLY! this is the part I fail to get every time!
this is not meant for YOU! it's meant for the "wgt company"
yet every time someone criticizes your work place
you seem to take it so personally, which I don't get why.

I wasn't being rude, certainly not towards you,
so why you take it to heart is beyond me.

I say we leave it at that, for the topic's sake. cool?

It is widely known that businesses generally do not give free product and services away, and if they do it is a gift and should not be expected under any circumstances.

In Australia this is the opposite.

Every company will gift their clients and it is reciprocal.

In my last couple of weeks before time off I visit our major clients and gift the staff that we work directly with, this is on occassion a gift of up to $500, on average a decent bottle of Scotch or Champage, or gift vouchers around $100

I remember a free rental weekend, which which was a marketing strategy to increase sales.
I don't remember anything else, i apologise though my memory is like a sieve at times!

What are the current promotions that WGT are running?

The community don't earn that much from the community, compared to the overwhelming turnover that WGT is obviuosly reaping, FROM the generosity of this exact community.

In comparison, I feel the community are probably more focussed on the community these days and keeping an eye out for the community's promotions as these 'promotions' that WGT offer are fairly pale in comparison.

We look forward to your single GI-SD ball on Christmas day.

I think your argument is pretty futile Pizza.
Standing from where we are with the perspective that we have, WGT are like the Scrooge of Golf/ Gaming/ Business.

here is a thread of people asking for more.

i'm not asking for more.....i'm asking for a better deal = there is a huge difference Pizza.....

if i go into a golf shop and spend $10 on balls then i don't expect any special deal......but if I was to waive $150 in front of the sales person and say "what deal on balls can you offer?  they will offer a better deal if I buy in bulk....or at least they do here in the UK.

i'm not asking for more...i'm asking for a better deal if i spend more.

go to a meat store....buy 1 steak it'll cost you the normal price....but buy 10 steaks...you'll get them for a better price.

there's a huge difference asking for something for nothing and asking for a better deal when buying in bulk.

    i.e buy one sleeve of MAX's for $6.......or buy 10 sleeves @ $5 a sleeve.

where's the problem in someone wanting a better deal....it's not like the balls cost anything to make...they're pixels for goodness sake.

    bah humbug lol

This is tough criticism, though I appreciate it.

Sometimes I do get frustrated when I feel players are placing blame on the company when they shouldn't but then again that's just my opinion. You're right, sometimes I speak a bit too passionately, I am guilty of this and I apologize :(

I appreciate your disposition on the matter. Let's leave it at that :)

That's a great suggestion, tbe, but should probably go in it's own thread.

Poor Pizza  ,,  All he was wanting to do was for us to look at the " New,s "  And see how some of the players of this game did something GOOD for other players .  Its the kind of stuff that happens here in WGT land every day .  That news was not about what is WGT going to give to me , But look how the community has made this a better place .

This is far more accurate than...

    WGTpizza:
Well done community, we are heading in the right direction :)

    'WE'?

How do you bundle the word 'we' into this sentence Pizza?

Necessity is the mother of invention.

There was a need, the community followed through.

Don't taint the community's actions by using it to shine your ego with..

We look forward to the WGT offerings promotions for this holiday season, which apparently hasn't started yet.

    Be sure it's Classy!
