Wanna become a great putter ? Read this..

   Let me show you something that's worked for me over the years and can also work for you.. It does take a little practice but if you hit your approch shots correctly and stick them on the green no more than three yards from the cup.. You will become a better putter..

  Dang man, see that's where I've been going wrong...

  I thought 4 yrds from the cup was the optimum distance ?

  I'll aim nearer to the pin from now on after learning that nugget...

  This is such a revolation that I am going to go right to the courses and try it right now.  I am not sure why this hasn't been discussed in the past!!  Now, just how is it I use my putter to get the 125 yard approach shot so close to the pin???

  I hate being sarcastic, especially to someone I don't even know, but come on, give me a break.  I truly wish I could put approach shots that close all the time, as we all do, but that hasn't anything to do with putting, but more of how much putting you have to do to score.  What I want and need to learn is how to read these greens that show break and the putt goes straight, or it shows a straight putt and the ball breaks????

  Np mate, no harm happened, and it could even be I misunderstood the OP, but then still no harm happened. To me the humor is rather clear, but sometimes I see humor where it was certainly not intended.... makes my life in this world of craziness a bit more bearable. :)

   I'm not sure everyone understands this but it is Ken Venteri that gave tips like this.. And I happened to remember this one.. I had never even heard of the WGT when he said this.. I did how ever buy into what he said and on the real golf course started shooting at the pin rather than just trying to place it on the green.. At first iit was disaster but eventually by getting my shots on closer to the hole.. I started to get my putts down.. Did it make me a better putter ? No..  But when I did get close from the fairway it left me with easier putts...
