I am looking to start the Ready Go tournaments soon and wanted to get a feel for what to expect in terms of win/losses and what it would mean for my credits. I ended up creating these spreadsheets which I have found very useful and now would like to share with you all.
You can change any of the cells in the blue boxes:
- Starting credits
- Associated winnings at certain scores (assumption required)
- Your scoring probability distribution (be honest with yourself!)
So for example, taking the 9 hole version, I have set it up for Kiawah and made the assumption that a score of 33 would break even and 32 would start to make credits (this seems fair based on most of the results I have seen). I then made the assumption that, based on my game, I have the following chances of scoring:
29 - 0%
30 - 0%
31 - 10%
32 - 40%
33 - 20%
34 - 10%
35 - 10%
36 - 10%
37 - 0%
38 - 0%
Since Excel randomises every time I change anything I can keep seeing how many credits I would get under different conditions based on the probabilities I have input. Please note that this will not create a perfect spread based on the probability distributions but in general it should be weighted by the numbers you choose.

Enjoy seeing what happens under different circumstances. Note: I have saved these files in Excel 2003 format.
