    DAZZA501:

    Cerino & Corwyn. While we all respect that you guys have put in a lot of practice at uneven lies and you probably know them better than we do you must understand that what we're all saying is they're not realistic to the real game of golf. When you have to take in to account the very slightest slope (1's where the dot is only just moving) and be aiming 50/60 yards right or left of the green on the yellow box shots then it's nothing like real golf.

    We only know UL well because we looked past any downside it has and embraced what it can do. Your score in the Tourney is very good and within 5 strokes of your average. I think you played better than you're giving yourself credit. If some of the players near the top of the leaderboard haven't played much with UL's I'm stunned and amazed. The scoring is great and can only get better.

    You gotta admit flat lies 100% of the time including when we're on the up or down side of a bunker is no more realistic. Being able to make the golf ball perform better than Professional Golfers could ever play is no more realistic either. We all suspend our disbelief and just play. With the UL's I just play too. How close it compares to IRL Golf never comes into my head.

    Ah you mean like this Mike;

    I aimed at the black arrow, the pin is at the white and note the wind direction and strength. I dinged the shot and missed the green on the left by 7/8 yards.

    This is where the work needs to be done, on the more severe examples of ball above, below your feet.

    same overhere. I gave it about 10yds more than in regular play, dinged the shot and still it landed 5 yds short of the green and anbout 17/18yds left of the pin.....and this shot was not even from the rough but from the fairway with a "green-lie"!!!

    Further on I think it's not only the "sidedeviations" that are totally ridiculous. It's also the shotlenght decrease which is far from realistic, and in some cases loosing over 20% lenght (e.g. BB#9 placed on fairway just right in front of the bunker) on a "green-lie". That's less than 200yds with a R11 3i 225yds. No way the real life pro's have 2 handle those situations, not even close!

    Well, hope WGT is reading all our feedback serious cause I don't think many people wanna play this way. Maybe they should take a look at "TWO", not perfect 2, but much better in this aspect than WGT....come on guys, give us something 2 cheer about.

    Cheers, GC

    That was the 1st and only attempt i've had at it and to be honest i think i could knock 3or4 strokes off it if i took my time. I don't struggle with UL. I just think they're wrong, to the extent it's almost comical.

    Congrats to Priestess for breaking 60 !  I know it can be done but still you have to stay pretty focused because one bad hiccup and there goes your score.

    That for sure.

    I wonder what some of the scores would be like in a UL single play tournament. Maybe a lot of WDs.

    Congrats on the sub-60 UL round as well. No easy task, but fun trying.

    How can people defend these uneven lies?  Its made the game pathetic and its not skill any more but hit & hope.  How can you justify 17 mph left to right wind yet still have to aim off the screen RIGHT to "maybe" hit the green???

    All UNEVEN lies does is make players scores more EVEN because every one gets comical shots all round.  I'm not that good a golf player but even I on a real course (full of slices)  pull off better shots than I get in uneven lies.  Its going to be WGT's downfall If this is their finished product.  It needs mellowing out LOADS!  I've not played in a week and to be honest I doubt If I would keep on playing If i had to rely on uneven lies.

    Thank you so much Priestess. Tangible proof it can be done and extremely well played. Loved watching your club choices and the slight off ding hits to compensate for the fairway lies.I noticed on the 2nd hole you hit 3 wood. I play it that way as well to get a better lie in the fairway.  I'd love to know how much time you've put into getting to know the UL feature. If you say this was the first time, I'll die.  ;-)

    Best of luck on Olympic. It's a perfect course for the UL feature.
