    Ah you mean like this Mike;

    So, looking at this shot you would have to aim faaaaar right  "off the course map" to be aiming in an estimated direction to hit the green. That is ridiculous. I would say some tweaking is definitely in order.

    you can give it to whomever you chose.....its a bunch of crap. worst thing WGT has come up with....other than maybe giving speed up boost out for Christmas.

    Uneven lies is horrible and should be dumped in the trash....i've played golf at a fairly high level and this is nowhere close to the real game.....a step backwards actually....its a gimmick at best.

    all I can say is balls cost way to much the way it is this is the last thing we need is another thing to eat up more of our balls..... but for every day game play an all turnys atleast leave us the option to chose to play with uneven Lies in the future,,,,,,, cause i would sure hate to see it forced on to everyone I think it will chase alot of players off.......

     It would be something to use in high stake turny's,, Not that my Opinion matter's but I think its the worst think yall have added on this game,,,,, just look at this picture man has 17 mph wind blowing to the right he aims right of pin i asume he dinged his shot an it still go's 60 yrd's to the left how can that be justified.............

    Kurtsbuford:
    let Buford through the door.

    Buford looks a "mite" big for a "Pit", (Colby) but non the less good look-in "Staff" :)

    It is amazing that WGT is working so hard to make the game more difficult for the chosen few at the top of the chart.   What I see here is newbies coming into the game only to exit as soon as they see how difficult it is.   Mid level players realizing this is another way to get thier hard earned cash with balls OB and in the water, I see a mass exodus when this is done.    I see no way they can get this right.

    For the past few months the game has changed in a lot of ways, this could be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

    Until WGT proves to me they know the U.S.G.A. rules for dropping the ball from a hazard, anything they do to the game is kinda stupid.  Fix the problems you have instead of creating another one.

    Oh, here we go again!

    Come on folks! If you just dived into this TL Unevens tourney without spending some time practicing Unevens, what do you seriously expect?

    You didn't reach the highest levels of the game overnight, did you… ? No, you came up gradually through the tiers, accruing knowledge as you went along. You can't expect to bolt on Unevens on top of all that, and make an instant adjustment.

    In my opinion, you have to treat Unevens as if it's a whole new game, which it is! For a start, practice with LOW wind, so that you're removing at least one of the variables. Better still, try it with Starter Clubs and balls, as that's how you learned the game in the first place. Doing that will give you the strongest basis for seeing the effect of the lies.

    In tiffer's screenshot example above, dare I say it, you shouldn't have been there in the first place. This seems like a classic instance where laying back to a mid-short iron distance on a flatter, fairway lie, would have been more prudent than the driver to wedge distance. If you miss the fairway with Unevens, change your expectations about getting close on approach. Do the Pros expect to knock it stiff out of the rough in a U.S. Open? I don't think so...

    I know there's a lot of fear here… You've all gotten extremely good at this game, and along comes a development that feels as if you're back at square one. Well, perhaps you are. But you're up for a challenge, right? Something that will reward skill, and judgment more than a dependence on which winds you get, and whether VEM will strike you down. (Perhaps with Unevens in play, WGT could even turn VEM off!? Wouldn't that make everyone happy?!!!) Do you really want the game to be all about throwing darts?

    OK, rant over!

    If anyone really cares to read a long diatribe of my thoughts on this subject go see this post I made at the beginning of December, including an appeal to declare how often you've played Unevens, and reserve judgement until you've had at least a dozen rounds under your belt!

    Corwyn, I have only one problem with the uneven lie and that is, the deviation that is with it, had a pretty good game going in the TL tourney -6 going into the first par 5 on the back 9.

    Had a 17 mph head wind straight at me , Lie was all green and no movement from the dots on the lie squares. second shot move my arrow on the fairway ding the shot ball goes in the trap on the left. OK say WTF move the arrow on the fairway to my right use my 60 wedge to get out.

    Right when I swing my avatar turns 90 degrees and hits the ball behind me back into the trap.

    I have reported this time and time again, but all I get is lame excuses on how it is something I did wrong. So my point is lay off the deviation with uneven lie play, the uneven lie is enough to contend with, and hitting the ding or missing the ding.

     For me all it does is turn me off of wanting to play,

    Corwyn the example I have posted just happened to be where I was at the time of reading Mike's post on the same hole. I had in my previous attempt playing the hole been on the fairway with the same ball above feet lie. The result of that shot was not markedly different to the flight path the shot from the rough displays.

    I don't think anyone has stated they expect shots to be going stiff in this new format, all I am looking for is a watered down version of what we currently have. I think that will be more realistic than it is just now.

    You stated in one of your posts that it's like learning the game all over again. I totally agree. What I cannot understand is the number of variables that are being altered from the original game. The distance a ball travels from the fairway is radically different and that seems bizarre as it is already a part of the original game.

    I said on the forums the day the format was released that people needed to give it time whilst WGT tried and tested it, then made improvements. I still think the evolution needs further time.....
