  Every 15º of latitude represents 1 hour of time, there are 360º if u go round the world, so divide 360 by 24, thats why it takes 1 hour to fly to Paris from London and u arrive at the same time u took off.

   

  lol flew n.y to lon.. saw sun come up and go down again...

  Here is a neat little program that does it all from Afreet Software, Inc. that I use for my Amateur Radio hobby. And free too. Just follow the steps on set up. You basically drag a red sticky pin to your home (QTH) and it does the rest. I like the grey scale of it showing night and day throughout the world.
