  I've looked at the guys equipment on his profile and all the posts on this thread.

  Think it's fair to say that I've no idea what the hell is going on !

  No driver, 3 wood, but 5 wedges ?

  Must be me I'm sure.

  I've done that before for CTTH or a CC irons only tourney then forgot to switch back to a normal setup.Try playing Oakmont from the tips with only irons.

  Not at all, Gloss. CTTHs don't have a need for a driver and a lot of them you never use the 3W. Replacing those 2 clubs with wedges is practical for these comps. It's when you forget to switch back to your regular setup before playing the other formats that causes the grief.  :-D

  Dammit!! For us people over the age of 50 we need a Senior Moment game option to prevent this!!  It would look sumptin' like this.....

  I think it is necessary to maintain the integrity of rules of golf, regardless of this being a computer game. We can't start altering the rules to  please certain players.
