    the thing is a 319 meter drive doesnt look nearly as impressive as a 350 yard drive

    Golf is played in yards and inches all over the world and that is how it should stay. Just saying.

    LOL -  I've played golf "in yards" (measurement) but not in inches, except for that famous quote from Bobby Jones ;)

    And I respectfully disagree to "all over the world" (everywhere) as this certainly does not apply to continental Europe.

    Yep, I've seen nothing but yards on the British courses!

    Quite confusing in the first place, when the distance markers are set to 135 and 81 m (150 / 90 yds) and to the center of the green, while the strokesaver counts from the front of the green. I remember a 7i of a puzzled German ending way behind the 1st green at Hawkstone Park ;)
