My 2nd question - Do you have any inkling about how many players could possibly earn 1/2 million credits playing this video game in lets say 1 year. You will probably just say "no', and my question remains truthfully 'unanswered'.
I know players that play and win 10 - 20 times a day, but no way on this virtual earth are they ever going to accrue 1/2 million credits in a reasonable time.
Not to toot my own horn, but i've probably made around 2 million credits in the last 3 years. Gotten 6 or 7 amex cards, mostly the 300k credit ones, and gifted away a lot of credits before i got stingy with them :) So it is possible, although more difficult as there is a deeper pool of very skilled players now vs 2010.
I'm sure it is possible , but i'm also sure there are only a handful of players who could possibly manage this , let's be honest , you are the top player here and it would take you just under a year to amass enough creds for an avatar , but as you said yourself - "I have never spent 500 credits or whatever it is for a bag or avatar, nor would I spend 500 credits on a custom one, let alone 500 f'in thousand"
so who the hell would buy one ? not any of the top players and for the rest of us mere mortals it would have to be paid for with REAL money , a pointless upgrade which seems to have caused no end of bad feeling towards WGT .
