  I suppose I'm part of the group you are referring to here. Let me tell you this. I'm investing a lot of time (ok, no money) in this game. Learning it, earning creditis, getting to know people in my CC and so on.

  This last update gives me the feeling they totally lost their mind at WGT. In general the direction we are heading with the game does not seem the right one (to the community at least) and as it seems so far WGT has not been listening carefully enough to the community.

  Tell me MB, do you agree with the fact that they have time to develop all this crap, but don't have time to do proper bugfixing and game development ? Hell, even in this topic on page whatever in the 20's I believe, people (at least 1) seem to all of a sudden have a golfbag they never got gifted or bought themselves. You know these bugs, euh, I mean bags show up on most funny places and ways, sometimes totally blocking the players view..... and now they start showing up with players that never got or wanted it.... LMAO.... but you, MB, in all your wisdom really think most people have no reason to complain ? You gotta be kidding me. Just as out of this world as WGT management if you ask me.

  My honest opinion is that money and greed is all that matters to wgt now. I think it has done so for awhile  but this has put the icing on the cake. I really do hope this new golf game will hit our comps soon cos ille be leaving this game like a few of my wgt friends have done so lately. Time and time again people are asking for bug fixes but as usual a blind eye is turned and the next money making scam i mean scheme is introduced. I understand a business is being run but if prices start rocketing like they are customers get driven away.

  Reading further after I got to just a few pages before and made a comment... 

  I suppose the Elite Collection is there for the Wgt Golfer who has everything and for the Elite another way to spend their credits on this game (maybe a few others too)

  The thing that has annoyed me most......

  All I want is a cap to cover my dark skinned Aussie Avatar.....  extra 50-100crs    big deal.

  Wgt has now told us all that we can build a whole new Avatar... for huge amount of credits... that 99% of us will never, never be able to get.

  There was this question: "Have there been any changes to the actual game play?"
  It was followed by "or is this information been kept secret for us beta testers?"
  
  Why I ask is because there is an increasing amount of paranoia in the community about changes being made to the VEM, to the clubs, to the whatever and I think the reason for this is that we trust WGT less and less. We are uncertain of your objectives, if they are to create a great game or just to earn money. If we knew what changes you make, we do not have to guess and come to the worst possible conclusion. This thread is a good example of the fact that there is much less love for WGT as a company than WGT as a game and I do think that it will, and are, affecting your general revenue. We put in the money, WGT spend it. If our money is spent on ridiculous stuff like insanely prized phone calls and Speed Boosts, we will be disappointed. When we are disappointed we will look for more negatives in WGT's actions. A bad spiral. Tell that to WGT's marketing department (which I am sure is at least twice as big as their programming department).

  The more and more I think about this today the more and more i am so disheartened by WGT.

  And I think that sums it up. I won't say any more on this topic. Effectively the update changes regards Elite items will not nor would ever had any impact on me. What does concern me is WGT direction it is heading. For a long time now many have asked for a forum discussion group that can discuss proposed changes by WGT (under a confidentiality clause) thus giving players some sort of voice within WGT and would save WGT from what has become a PR disaster. But we have never had any acknowledgement.

  As I said earlier, this is a great game with a lot of great people but WGT has never given those who spend real money any incentives at all, apart from providing a great game. Is that enough, for some yes, for others they play less and less or even stop playing.

  So this evening I decided to go back (close) to where I started (and did for well over a year) and used the starters equipment (except my wedges and putter) and tackled the front 9 on Bethpage from the Champs tees.(practice mode) I had a blast despite being 3 over. So for the time being this is what I will do - it won't cost a cent.

  For my thinking WGT needs to rethink its marketing strategies and begin to listen to its customers before the damage is irrevocable.

    I was gobsmacked at the amount asked. I too will never have that amount of credits to even think about purchasing anything from the elite section. All they are doing is sucking more money from people like me that has to buy credits each week because scores of 30 just dont cut it in the rgs anymore so can never win a descent part of the purse. For me the game has taken a turn for the worse and its nearly time to take my bag and balls and leave
