  I do believe there is only a Union Jack flag, no english, welsh or scottish flags in wgt, therefore the flag represents Great Britain.

  The tournament is incorrectly titled, just like when The Open was on, they ( wgt ) called it the British Open - wrong, it is "The Open Championship" and the winner is referred to as The champion golfer for that year.

  Well I call all the lovely people over there as 'English'    weather they be Irish, Scottish, Welsh. or anywhere else I can't think of at the moment....lol

  I would strongly suggest that you, if you want to use just one word, call them 'British' instead. But that is very OT.

  Funny, just realised that Great Britain is, still, so great that it is politically correct to use derogatory terms when talking about it's people. Still.

  So In Australia we dont think it is derogatory. So  no offense intended but it is only by pommies that offense is taken

  So when the Aussies talk about "pommies", they actually refer to themselves. No wonder they do not find it derogatory.

  To help some, here's what Pizza stated at 01-11-2013 5:13 PM in another thread when addressed concerning the Elite update (one of his most remarkable posts IMHO):

  I am confident that there is a reasoning behind this decision, however I do not know the reason. If I had more (or as soon as I get more) information, I'd be sure to post it on the forums.

  Until then, this is just another release for WGT. Let's all have some fun while the company sorts out the endless feedback I have been giving them :)

  Very few early settlers here were Convicts, the over flow of a British regime jailing those for stealing bread .

  Many more of our  settlers migrated here for the gold rush.

  Perhaps pizza could influence a decision to bring these Avatars to a reachable cost.
