  After this 2 day nonsense following the update, I still feel WGT don't want to address our complaints properly, so as far as cardboard cut out Pizziman is concerned I don't give a toss whether he responds or not.

  First off let me explain my behaviour yesterday as I believe I was offensive to some people like OBR , and I wish to apologise for that m8. 

  I have a personal crisis to deal with ( not me myself) and it will take up a lot of my time to deal with it. Hence my withdrawal from the Uneven Lies tourney organised by Corwyn.

  What I would like to suggest to everyone is sign up here for sponsorship to the kickstart program run by PerfectParallel.

  If fifty of us, the good players and nice guys, pledge $20 each, then that is $1000 of the 300 thousand they need.

  Add ur name to this thread if u think it has any merit, and then I will talk to u privately via Skype if u wish.

  i've already pledged at PP .. i don't think they'll reach their pledge total in time though .. a new project like this will take some time to get off the ground, so my belief is that PP's timeline for initial Alpha release will take a little longer to happen ..

  what i can say though is that WHEN they eventually do their initial release, they will gather the numbers at a rapid rate .. i say this based on all the time i've spent over at their site and investigating what they envision for their game to be ..

  and i can say with certainty that it'll be a quantum leap forward in terms of golfing simulation:

   - their visuals are simply stunning .. best by far i've ever seen .. better even than WGT's HD courses

   - they'll have their own CourseForge tool where u can design ur own courses .. there'll never be a lack of courses to play

   - the game physics model will be unmatched & advanced

   - different swing mode models

   - shot shaping & stance control

   - weather simulation & ambient sound

   - various levels of difficulty

  the list goes on .. i would recommend to anyone to go check it out and get involved

  Our whole club (48 members) are looking into this at the moment also. They sure look like they have it sussed at Perfect Parrallel, and it does look absolutely amazing so far.

  The only thing that worries me is the possibility of being limited to what u can do dependent on how much u spend.

  It does seem very money orientated with all those sponsor levels, and I am not happy to spend more on virtual golf than I do on real golf for sure.

  edit: C'mon guys I expected a better response than this, yet, saying that when I logged on this morning , and checked out the forums, there was a deathly hush about the place, very eery, like where was YJ, Mbaggese and all our other favorites to respond to the shite I post.

  If this thread gets moderated or deleted , so be it, it will signal the death knell for WGT, because if they can't front up and be honest with us , their community, then, wtf should we give our loyalty to them..

  yeah, those levels of participation determines one's lvl of involvement during Alpha & Beta testing ..

  i think they might have a annual subscription fee & like WGT will also sell content online.

  but i believe the intent is to make it very affordable & community centered .. at least they are willing to listen to input from the players & their responses are concise & engaging

  hell 20 bux is only a couple of large ones in a nice watering hole, or if u like a short time in Pattaya, lol

  I would have already pledged if my current circumstances would allow it. Unfortunately, they don't, but at the 1st light of change I see, I'll do my best to support that thing. Looks awesome!

  But I must say it really makes me sad to think all of this could have easily been avoided if the powers of WGT would only show a smidge of respect for their community. I'm sure non of us would be even thinking of looking elsewhere, if that were the case.

  Very interesting concept they have going on over there.

  You can design your own course and play it with your friends or play your friends designed course.

  One thing that bothers me is that you can have up to five different golfers and that would remind me of some of the folks around here.

  As good as it looks,why have they not got the money themselves for guys that can put this together they must have had very good and well paid jobs for years,also the graphics look awesome why has no company come forward to sponsor it $300,000.They are miles away from their target and any money given may be lost if they don't hit target.If and when it happens then I may put money to it.
