    Doesn't look bad..

Perfect Parallel looks good to me, so far.. although is only a hint. I still like WGT but the attitude they have shown towards customers lacks a bit of everything, or lots. A few years ago Blackberries were on top of the smartphone world and now they are struggling to survive.. same has happened to many big companies and still they keep making the same mistake. Nokia, Kodak, and many others are a warning to those that believe themselves untouchable...

I will definitely give them a shot at my hobby dollars.

But, I want to see a little more promising development from them first.

Whilst I agree Perfect Parallel looks good......it might be worth noting that it is NOT going to be browser based. They say they've sunk $1 Million of their own money into this project BUT are almost begging for the other $300K.

Why couldn't they find venture capitalist funding like WGT did...or any other backers for that matter. Let's face it $300K's chicken feed in the gaming industry.

As much as I do like the look of the game........I think it'll still be waiting to take off this time next year.

The NON browser based issue just killed it for me. It's put lipstick on the pig.

I might disagree with WGT's business sense RE the bags / avs / chat with Chadders........but it's WGT's HD graphics & just as importantly the online browser based aspect that got me interested in the first place.

Perhaps the new WGT update will yield more fruit.

I think these Perfect Parallel people are holding something back from us.

They say they've put $1 Million of their own funds into this.

No venture capitalists will touch them and the banks won't give them a business loan......because you can be assured that they will have approached capital investors and banks but seemed to have been knocked back.

Either they are all what they say they are OR folks won't invest in them because it's not going to be a web browser based game.....so if it's only going to be cd / dvd based...that throws them in direct competition with EA Sports and Tiger Woods.......and only a mad investor would invest in them knowing they'll be going head to head with EA Sports.

Last chance saloon for PP is to beg investment from any sucker who don't mind blowing a few bucks.

you know I brought this up  in another thread, could WGT design their own courses, Lert me go try and find it ,  OK got it

     Woodoworkery:

Can WGT create their own course through programming?

Hmm... I'm not sure if we have the technology, or the people capable of creating courses from said technology on staff. I'm sure if WGT wanted to pursue this, it would be possible :)

    Stay classy,

nope .. i got some responses in their general forums tho from the guys building the game ..

we'll see where it all goes .. but i'm keen for somethin' new in addition to WGT ..

there shouldn't be only ONE golf sim dominating the market IMO .. imagine if WGT brought in some of their course designs for us to play on here .. but i would prefer a separate competing entity ..
