Honestly the new things in the Elite collection are over priced and stupid.  That being said so were the old things in the Elite collection.  I don't rememer the conversion rate but I think that the dollar to credit was 18 to 1 but who cares I had no intention of buying anyting from there.

I realize that for some of the elite players who hoard credits, they intended to convert some of those for Amazon gift cards, etc.  That sucks for them but in my opinion WGT was never intended to be a gambling site and  this makes it even less so.  You can still play for credits but the credits pretty much go for balls and gifts.

My view is that I keep enough credits to play the games I enjoy playing and I refuse to play for more than 200 credits.  I gave away over 15,000 credits in the form of gifts during Christmas and I'm always here for my friends who need things and sometimes just give them something for the heck of it.

Just my opinion but I'm here to have fun not become a WGT credit millionaire.

Would be nice to see some of the other items on here as gifts for some of the tournaments/weeklies,monthlies. Like the WGT baseball cap, Polo shirt with WGT logo or one of the mouse pads. Or even let us use the winning credits to purchase in the Elite area of Pro shop.

May even make more people play them if some of these items are within reach of the average player.

    WGTpizza:
The game hasn't changed, you will still be able to derive as much fun as you did a week ago.

To the majority of players perhaps, but there's a MINORITY of players who are good at the game and saved up credits to get gift cards.  These players saw the gift cards as a goal, some thing to aim for and a bit of return for the endless grinds of ready go's.  Now, there is nothing to strive for, no motivation to enter any more ready go's.  You might as well play the free tournaments.  I used to play at least 5 ready go's a day some days (always between $2 and $10) since removing gift cards I havn't entered a single one since early December.  I disagree with you, the gameplay might not have changed, but the motivation HAS, therefore many elite players have mentioned they wont play as often (jakestanfill  to name but 1) therefore NOT DERIVING as much fun as we did a week ago, and its also loosing WGT income.  They are no longer getting $2 to $3 a day stake from my matchplay challenge and ready go's (+ plenty of others too)  Any way, after getting kicked out by 20+ legends trying to find a challenge match, Is it worth the bother now anyway??

But when you have so much credits like many have, there's not even a point playing for credits as the ones you have in the bank would keep you in balls for over a year anyway (buying a pack of nikes for 365 days)

As for the Avatars, i havn't met any one yet who would actually buy one anyway, but met plenty of elite players who feel they've been kicked in the teeth by wgt since removing gift cards.  I thought WGT was in the business of making money?  Why swap something people WOULD spend their credits on - gift card, with something no one would buy - AVATAR????  If it was to ensure plenty of "non gaming" States could enter ready go's as was mentioned in previous posts, you could only allow states, countries that allow gaming to keep buying cards, it keeps EVERYONE HAPPY!"   :( **

    ** :(    (elite players now)

bring back gift cards to see the elite players start looking like this   :)

ohh by the way, lets not forget the £59 tee time you get at Celtic Manor ( $94 x4 = $376) for 495,000 credits...LOL:)  I see a business plan here, I'll pay for 4 of you to play at Celtic Manor, send me each a $100 gift card and you can all save 125,000 credits each($1250)....And before you think of banning me WGT, I'm not serious about this business plan, its only a bit of fun.  I need to get some fun somewhere as playing for credits, the biggest enjoyment & fun in playing WGT has been made OBSOLETE and POINTLESS.
