  hi - what are the best pieces of equipment for a newbie to buy?

  you can check the proshop and see what clubs are available. generally, the more dots club has the better its performance. I would still keep in mind that sometimes being able to ding is preferred over missing it, so slower meter clubs should be kept in mind when deciding:)

  Mark, the rockebalz at lvl 15 are getting great reviews. They have great spin and distance. You could probably keep these until you reach lvl 59  where the  g20 are available. Also, three wedges would help. The low lvl pings are good. I would suggest waiting until lvl 51 and getting the nike putter. Have fun.
