I won something in one of my first tourneys competed in......6 credits for a round of 30, didnt justify the cally i used and not enough to buy even the cheapest of the cheap WGT ball, excluding the starter ball

I play the weeklies occasionally, but only for a laugh, the prize payout is laughable too.

I often win 1 or 2 credits, makes me smile.

    Woodoworkery:

Don't feel bad ,played a skins game with a friend won 7 out of nine holes tied the other 2 and got a whooping 20 credits added to my account. OH each skin was for 20, I had to pay WGT 130 credits I think. my friend said they took 100 away from him.

    Go figure

Check again, WGT only charges 30 cr for that skin value.

    So the math should be:

Total costs: 9 times 20 cr + fee is 210 credits

    Total winnings : you won 7 (40 × 7= 280) and split 2 (20×2=40) , all together 320 credits.

That means your net profit should have been 110 credits.

Unless you only put up 10cr per skin each, in that case cut all those numbers in half.

Well said EnglishRosey couldnt agree me more, I cant afford to buy credits so can only up them by watching ads. It costs me more in standard balls than what I may win playing a torney and being I cant afford to upgrade my equipment its very rare that I win anything anyway so Im stuck in no mans land, cant afford upgrades, cant win anything so I can upgrade and being I earn 75 credits every 3 to 4 weeks from watching ads I might be able to upgrade in 2 or 3 years, I think im the only level 90 player that has no choice but to use starter clubs.

    Here do the math

12.20.12 Skins Challenge Game ID 10007 Skins Challenge Fee -30 Cr
12.20.12 Skins Challenge Game ID 10007 Skins Challenge Amount -90 Cr
12.20.12 Skins Challenge Game ID 10007 Skins Challenge Win 140 Cr

So, you only put up 10 cr each for every skin. That means my numbers should be cut in half. But check if there's any evidence of them refunding the 20 cr for the 2 skins that were unclaimed. If it really ended with you winning 7, your friend winning zero and nobody winning the last 2, you should get additional 20 cr refunded + your 140 cr for winning 7. That would mean net profit of 40 credits. If you didn't get the 20 back and it's true that nobody won the last 2 skins (holes), you should report the error. Btw, that 30 cr charge for running the game from WGT stays the same ammount for up to 49 cr per skin, so if you play for the minimum 10, nobody will really profit anything, but if you up the stakes, you'll get more bang for the same rake.

    EnglishRosey:
I find the prizes (credit purse) that WGT puts up in its free 9 and 18 hole weekly tourneys, a joke and an insult.

I agree, kinda takes the shine off of playing them (excepts for league type stuff)..

I remember as a TM playing G10's and BED? balls...and being able to fund them..lol

There really should be more incentive to waste a few hundred credits in balls, for so little return.

Sure, you can't payout like a RG...but the top 30 I agree should get something worth while for their efforts.

That was my first skin game for credits......lol but he challenged me, he set the game up.So I payed 120 credits , he said he lost 100, so WGT got 200 credits for nothing?
