How do i get my credits back. I was in the middle of a challenge matchplay game when the site shut down for maintainence. When it returned i was informed that i had not returned to the game in time and forfeited my 222 credits. As it was WGT who had prevented me from returning in time, then surety my credits should not have been take from me. Perhaps in future they might place a countdown timer on the home page informing people that the site would be shutting down at a certain time, allowing players to decide if they should start a game or not.

    hi

We do make an announcement for downtime a few hours ahead. I made a thread in the announcement forum. We also, (most of the time) make an announcement in game 2-3 hours before downtime starts.

I think the gist of the answer was there was plenty of notice. Just guessing.

@Clauinoir-It doesn't hurt to send WGT an e-mail about it.     They're not heartless.  ;-)

So everyone should check out the annoucement forum before we start any game? Isn't this a bit unrealistic given the fact most people just log on to play a casual game? As for your announcement which only happens "most of the time", surely that should be there all of the time, giving both players the opportunity to discontinue the game with out being unfairly penalised as I and my opponent were. I feel that given the fact that the warning was not issued to us that our credits should be re-imbursed and you should review your policy on warning players of any upcoming down time.

    Hi

Not at all. I just stated that we do announce them ahead of time:)

and re my 'most of the time' comment, I wanted to say all the time but, for example, I was not online late that night, so I did not see the announcement, so I could not say all the time :)

Please email us at members@worldgolftour.com so that our CSR team can take a look at the situation.
