I have been reading these post's and I have made legend by playing my games. Now if a tour master plays and drops his average in a match play then they will have a harder time on the legend tee's. Also if they are to low of a level then they will not make most fairways and will only be hurting there average an game play in the long run. Now on the other hand I played a random Tour legend today to see if i could win and if it would lower my average, which it did not. I won 1 out of 2 games. Now with this being known that a legend can only lower his average by playing the ranked games and spending the time and money on balls. So now tour legend is what all of us legend's should go for that way when we make tour legend no one can say he played match to lower his score, because that is not possible. So to all the legends that are going to play match to lower there scores and enjoy the shortcut and I guarantee those legends will never pursue the Tour legend tier as they will not be willing to put the time or money into the game to make it.                             Sincerely Grubymike USA Military Vets CC

It seems they just want to get the name Legend on their profile page and doing it this way saves them time and balls I guess.  I think it will cost them more in the long run though.

    Yup^^, played a Legend with a 71% drive and 68% G.I.R !!!  (really)

That guy didn't 'earn' Legend..it was like playing a master (easy pickings) :-))

The fact some people use this method to advance may or may not be unethical, but it definitely is stupid beyond belief. It basically means they're willing to play from tees they're completely unprepared for, just so their ID could have "legend" written below it. I wonder how they'll feel when their avg suddenly get to be above 70?

Some like me who worked our way up to legend taking a couple of years still found we were ill prepared for the longer tees and faster green speeds and saw our average shoot up to almost 72 and it took us forever to get the average back down. Those players who chose to make legend the easy way only shot themselves in the foot so to speak.

Amen Brother earned my way to "Legend" I peaked shortly after making Legend to 76.00, it has taking me about four months to get to 62.63, with no shortcuts! I chose the right path, no sense going somewhere and not knowing what to do when you get there ;))

right now I do not feel good about this happening, at all.

Of what influence is other peoples behavior to your fun. So, they become legend without being ready for it..... what's your trouble with that ? I really don't understand. I just would beat their sry a$$es as often as I could for as many credits as possible...
