    jiggsie:
I have a formula for TM greens - Legend Greens - what is it for Tour Legend
On my table TM greens are 130%, Legend greens 135 %, Championship 140 % of nominal = Standard.

My numbers are the same as Alosso's. If, after a couple holes, I think, "Dang, they're coming up short" or "Huh, they're rolling too far past" then I'll adjust a tad, maybe 2-4 percent. They DO vary. (I shoot for 1 foot long, after elevation adjustment.)

well, there's a nice formula for all greens, no table needed...

    champions 1ft=0,6

    Tournamet 1ft=0,7

    Very fast 1ft=0,8

    Fast 1ft=0.9

    Standard 1ft=1ft

    Slow 1ft=1.1ft

ah, dont forget to add 2 extra feet on all putts (course there are exceptions)

The difference between TL and Legend speed is not that big. What is big is how the putts roll. Trying to be exact on downhill putts is going to get you in trouble because on the faster greens, once the ball gets rolling it tends to stay rolling or pick up speed. The aim and touch is way more important.

Putt like a Legend uphill, putt paranoid downhill.  :-)

FWIW to avatar move putters, I find the difference between the 2 greens is a move cancel.

Well, Legend tournament green is missing here, between (TM) tournament and Champions greens...

    And the numbers are spread too far IMHO - my numbers of 0.9, 1, ... 1.4 do not translate to 1.1 ... 0.6. It's rather 1.11 ... 0.71 :)

    I only played Tournament Greens,

It's common knowledge that there are 2 speeds called Tournament that aren't the same. TM Tournament and Legend Tournament are different.

LOL. Yes way and the answer to your question is what was causing the uproar about the silliness of it all because there isn't any way to know until you have to putt on them. No kidding.  :-)

As u said in ur 1st response, YJ (in a different context), the diff between TM tournament and and Legend tournament is very slight ... and mainly shows in delicate downhill putts. I find I can use the same formula for all of the top 3 speeds (- 30%), and just tweak the 'safety factor' I use on top of calculated distance. That safety factor is 1 - 2 feet extra to account for the day to day variability in greenspeeds provided by WGT, course to course differences, and subtle errors in elevation to hole.

TM tourn give it 2 ft., Leg tourn, 1.5 ft; Champ,1 ft or less. Downhill? No further adjust for TM tourn; maybe eliminate safety factor altogether for Leg tourn on either of the 'O' courses; definitely reduce or eliminate safety factor for Champ downhillers.
