From what I can gather WGT are finding it increasingly difficult to recruit new players into playing the game.  Their numbers last year fell sharply and goodness knows how many of those were multi acounters anyway. So they've opted for plan B. Bleed the people that are already here for everything they have. I would love to see what they actually make, considering there's not that many of them on the paid staff list and to get a real idea of what their agenda is.

Still waiting for auto-ding. Figure it will start out at 500c per use.

Nice to have Pebble back - best course of all.

Approaching 4k rounds and have 12 HIO's - now I'm going to gamble against those odds?

As for the Nike clothing, If it was half the price I might be tempted, but when WGT expect you to shell out $120 worth of credits for a $10 hat or $180 for a $30 shirt, you got to be kidding right?  better hold my credits for when MRWGT sells his dirty underwear for 30,000 credits   (or just incase he's sensible enough to re-introduce gift cards)

Why should we get excited about a course we had 2 years ago but was taken back from us?  Even new stroke play Tru golf course would have filled the gap until Meirion

Just a quick mention, no functioning business strategy would offer a 100% rakeback. The clothes offer of 1:6 is actually a normal prize ratio and much better than what they added before. Just look at pokerstars and ask them to pay the full rake back?! HIO odds remain nonsense anyway though...

    Cheers

Enjoyed both the new course options, it would be great to have the par 3's as a CC tourney option though, just pro-rate the final scores for averages if that's an issue, it's really not hard to do.

Next month's update should be good though when the Virtual Masters starts at Augusta.

Earn bonus WGT Credits by making a hole-in-one or landing the ball within 1 or 5 feet of the hole. Try your luck!

Its clearly misleading. You don't earn bonus credits by landing the ball within 1 or 5 feet. You lose them.

    Here are the credit "bonuses".

    Stake: 100/50/10
    HIO: +1,400/+700/+140
    1 foot: -74/-37/-8
    5 foot: -90/-45/-9
    Miss:  -100/-50/-10

Not sure why a lot of people are complaining so much. This is by far the best update since we got Olympic.

I agree that the HIO challenge is a joke, IMO the best way to go about it would be to have a free entry and a 1000 credit prize for every HIO made. They'd earn MUCH more in ball usage alone then they'd ever have to pay out.

New par 3 course is fun and we can now finally play 8all who weren'r around a few years ago9 Pebble beach with our own gear. Although this course was always available to play on another site, you could only use EZ Swing crap, so not much fun.

New Nike balls look good. I'll try the heart ones as well, lol. Might bring me some change in my love life.

And the price of the new items in the elite collection is actually really good. I don't know how much golf shirts cost in the US, but in Slovenia any Nike shirts START at 50 euros (around $67) in retail (regular price, not talking about sales), so the fact you can buy one for 18.000 credits (with cost of overseas shipping included) sounds like a very good deal to me.

But I guess some will never be happy.

but all that NIKE merchandise has probably cost WGT NOTHING.  probably Nike has thrown in a few hats & shirts as part of the advertisement they have with WGT and using their name for balls etc etc rather than Titleist or another brand.  So basically I bet the shirts cost ZERO to wgt and its all PROFIT anyway
