In the spirit of Dazza's Christmastime giveaway of a free driver for the longest drive with starter gear, I'm holding a contest for a free putter (any putter at all) for the longest made putt.
Entrants may use any green speed, putter and ball combo, but only putts on Oakmont #9 to the front pin are eligible. The replay must remain on players profiles so i can check the date you achieved it. Replays must be posted in this thread with the stated distance of your putt.
All replays must be posted in this thread the same day the replay is saved. Ties go to the first to post.
The "easy" line from the front corner gives about 85 feet to work with, and the faaaaaar back corner of the green is in excess of 170 feet. I have no idea what the winning putt will be...who knows? Perhaps a 44-footer will hold up.
The contest will end at 23:59:59 WGT time on Valentine's Day, February 14th.
