    fmagnets:

PS. As far as I know, you can gift above your level, as long as the recipient is at the right level.

Correct.  It's the person receiving the gift who needs to have a high enough level.

    Incredible putt by the way.

thanks, both of you, for your generosity and unselfishness. maybe another 1 good idea is to give putter to someone else who has only starter clubs (every club) , making him more pleasure and will, to continue to play and stay with us longer, when things becomes to be more harder.

good luck and a lot of fun to all.

p.s. I have not seen that bhoese's link, where can play only 9hole. i played all 9 Oak holes, discovering a lot of unknown spots there. how is possible to make only 1 hole play option? and how to save more then 10 replays?

good one both of you. If this was a driver of choice i would have been happy cause im in desperate need of one but its a putter. May the deserving one get it.

    1) WGT Community (in the top menu on this page) => courses => Oakmont => play 9th hole => play

    2) In the genuine replay, choose "share" and send it to yourself. Add some text to your liking. Or just click on "copy" and paste the link somewhere, e.g. your blog.

Bhoese has kindly agreed to pass the prize on to a deserving player. Jsweetcr will shortly be getting the Max Master himself. So, 21as21111, do you fancy the Nike when you get to L77? Or perhaps the Max Master if you get to Master level first? By playing the whole front nine of Oakmont over and over just to have a putt on the 9th green, we feel you deserve this gift for sheer lunacy :-)

if you watched my replays, you could see that I did not put in (even once), only few very close and few passing over shots (at 150ft dist approx.)

lunacy? i think you're right. i've played all the holes one by one, with smile on my face, inspired by that 169 ft putt (i just wanted to see how much I can achieve). i enjoyed much, all night. 8 hours? i've never done that before, and i don,t know if I'll do it again. i still have one hot dot (pain), between my shoulder and neck. i just love this game, and I'm not sorry. if you decided to do so - you're welcome. thanks for your generosity, again.

btw, my simple putter served me well over 2 months. i have no experience with any other. i am at L76 (less then 2000 level points to L77, i will get it tonight). i dont know when I'll be master, i'm still waiting (over 1 month, with intent). thanks again. and have a nice day.

You will like the L77 Nike. It has the same meter speed as the starter, so you don't have to adjust from your current rhythm. But it is miles better in terms of reduced VEM - no more 5 footers where a dinged putt goes sideways off the face.

The only thing you will need to get used to is that it comes off a little soft for putts under 10 feet. This just means you need to visualise whacking the ball into the back of the hole with a foot of extra pace, which is a good positive thought to have anyway.

thanks for advice, FM. the first thing i plan to do with this putter, is get back on Oak 9 hole and compare the differences between both putters, old and new. I'll be back to write a few words here. It could be the last post in this topic.
