Can some one tell me if these two things are associated at all.

I stopped using Chrome a long while ago because of Flash problems and changed to Comodo Dragon.

For the last 10 days I have been having the Flash freeze on me. The thing is it is also affecting my computer and that freezes as well. I can't do anything and in the end I have to hit the power button on my computer to come out instead of coming out properly. Doing this is no good for my computer or my temper.......It is also affecting my Internet Connection and when I log back on again I have to go into the Trouble shooter and reconnect to the internet server.

Is there a fix to this problem and is any-one else having the same problem. It's always after I get the pop-up sign which says ''The flash Player has stopped working''. Everything just freezes.

Any answers would be greatly received.

Update Comodo Dragon. That exact same scenario was happening to me until I did. Near as I can tell, Windows was calling CD an "unknown plug in" and was causing the freeze. I had the problem for well over a month and went around the block with AV scans, Malware scans, Windows troubleshooting and anything else I could find.

You may have a problem with flash, or it may sound like you have an overheating problem. I would try re installing Flash first, and if that doesn't help, take some compressed air to your computer and get the dust out. Let us know how your troubleshooting goes :)

Thats exactly what I have been doing. he he:~)) It never entered my mind to Update Dragon. Do you mean re-install or just update it......I'll try update first and if that don't work I will un-install and re-install it.

Cheers YJ. You are a godsend as usual. he he:~))

LMAO. It was killing me and pissing off my regular p's. At one point I would warn them as soon as I got the load error that I would be back in 1:26. That was the fastest reboot I could produce. I only updated it but was ready to do the uninstall thing. :-D
