I realize this is gonna be a tall order to fill but I'll throw it out there anyways. Since WGT is truly a wold-wide game played by people from all walks of life, sometimes there's a bit of a language barrier. Obviously chat is not necessary to play, and this isn't World Chat Tour, but it's still part of the appeal, especially when paired with players from far away lands. I've had some luck using Google Tanslate in a seperate window to communicate with non-English speaking players, but the chat box only allows me to paste what I copied from Google Translate. When the other person replies I have to try and type everything into Google Translate to read what they typed and this is rather difficult. If WGT could encorporate a translate option into the chat box it would be amazing! If that's asking too much maybe the ability to copy text from the chat box at the very least.

    hi

unfortunately, it's not possible. the translate module is very complicate stuff and likely doesn't even exist for our platform.

I agree it would not be feasible for WGT to have a transaltion program.

What the OP also asked for was is it possible to copy from the text box so you could then paste that into a translation program?

You can paste into the chat box, but cannot copy from it.

Another thing is the fact that google translate is basically useless, at least when it comes to my language. You'd have better chance explaining something to a blind person with sign language (no offense intended to anyone), than to successfully get your point across if you translated from English into Slovene with google translate.

    ahh, I missed that.

I think it's reasonable. I'll add it to the list and hopefully it can be done.

Thanks Icon, would be nice occasionally.

Also to Jure - I used to try and use google translation when I lived in Hong Kong - I am sure if i repeated some of the so-called translations I would have been arrested lmao

Lol, I heard it works decent enough for some languages, but I know it's completely useless for mine.
