You will be able to play a random 3 before hand to get used to the conditions and the 90 second timer. ( I wish they had that timer in single play practice mode. ) All results will be posted using a bracket type form which I will post after the sing-ups are complete. All I ask is a screenshot of the scorecards ( Front & Back 9 only ) unless someone comes up with a way to award prizes. Also one photo on the fairway and one from the green. I will award each member of the winning team credits but at this time still trying to figure that part out.

say you were gifting 1000 credits to each winner. just ask them in the pro shop what they want.

    Hey Bailey,

Looks like you've been pulled in to do admin work and are a benefactor of prizes. . As far as credits to winners a Blitz Challenge "loss" only gives up to 50 credits to WGT instead of the standard 10%. On 1000 credits it saves half. With this method you have to schedule a time for the challenge but it's a clean way to make the transfer. Of course there's always the gifting from the Pro Shop as well.

Good luck with the admin work. Just knowing how much time Corwyn puts in during our Tough It Out Challenges, it's a tough task to take on. :)

Even more. Playing an MP for 1000 cr only gives you 1800 for the win, so you actually lose 200, where as with a blitz fro 999 credits you only lose 10.

That is not what I meant but thanks anyway. I know how the gifting process works.

I'm back in business sooner than I thought. Man what a little bit of bribery and a half gallon of the recipe will do to get you some real fast service.

We have 4 days left for sign-ups and the way it looks now I might have to scratch one team off of the list. I haven't heard anything from the team in question so by the end of the day they will be taken off the list. And I am very sorry for the delay but I'm trying to give this team every chance to compete.

I will post the final details of the tournament on Monday including the first round course and conditions.

    mnshiner:
So being that Easter Sunday would be a potential playing day are you folks up to starting the tournament a week early ( March 3rd ) instead of on the 10th. This would make the final round start on the 24th with the winner announced on Easter Sunday the 31st.

    Hi Shiner!

I strongly support the suggestion to move the tourney up a week (and having it end by 3/31).

Not only would that mean that it would all be completed in March (which is fitting for a tourney named 'March Madness'!), but also that Easter and the days following will mean family vacation weeks for many players, and a disruption to their normal, and stated, availability.

I for one would find it very hard indeed (if not impossible) to play in the first week of April.

Thanks for considering this factor in scheduling.

    Cheers, Corwyn

P.S. So glad to hear that you're back 'in business'!
