"Example: Team x posts their screenshots before team y and talks about how their round went without devulging their score. This tells team y that they have played their round but doesn't know what their score is. After all scorecards Front & Back 9 are sent to me I will post them Team vs. Team all in one reply so there is no searching from page to page to find them."

I had a feeling the name "Uneven Liars" would come in handy. ;-)

Sounds all good to me and very generous prizes I must say. Can't wait to get it started.

** Perhaps edit one of your first posts in this thread and paste the tourney outlay there as well so we don't have to look to page 8 for the details.**

    Shiner,

This is SO exciting! This is going to be such a great tourney, and I too am seriously impressed by your generosity with the prizes! You have clearly put a lot of thought into how to make this tricky concept work: I can't wait for it to begin!

Might I ask a couple of small questions:

    mnshiner:
Each Team must post a screenshot of the fairway & green showing Uneven Lies & the Green Speed.

Does it matter where in the round the screenshots are taken, e.g. any of the last 5 holes? (I love that the screenshots will only 'tell' so much to the other team: even if a screenshot shows both players in a team well under par, you'll have no idea if they birdied the same holes.)

    mnshiner:
Team x posts their screenshots before team y and talks about how their round went without devulging their score. This tells team y that they have played their round but doesn't know what their score is.

I love this idea! It'll be fun to have some 'gamesmanship' going on, with 'suggestive' descriptions of how a pairing got on.

    mnshiner:
After all scorecards Front & Back 9 are sent to me I will post them Team vs. Team all in one reply so there is no searching from page to page to find them.

Will we get to see everyone's cards at the end of each Match? It would be very interesting if we did, to give us a sense of how each team's score was achieved (and I'm sure it will be fun to look back on what they said about their round with the card to look at).

One option might be for teams to send you a url for their already uploaded scorecard, rather than just a pic attachment. That way, you can just insert the image in the result post without any extra work.

    mnshiner:
In case of a tie it will be judged by a hole to hole comparison.

Lastly, you might want to clarify this, and please forgive me if I'm being stupid. But do you mean it will be decided by looking at the 2 cards of the 4 players, and seeing if the result comes out clearly in favor of 1 team if assessed as MatchPlay hole-by-hole?

Or, do you mean the WGT tie-breaker method of best score for last 9, then last 6 etc...

I'd vote for the former, the MatchPlay approach.

    Cheers, Corwyn

I forgot a lot of things in getting this thing together. To answer your question any of the last 5 holes will be fine.

Yes, all cards will be posted at the end of each round in one reply by team vs. team. I am still working on how to do this and make them readable for all to view. My thoughts so far is to create a web page and post all of them there. This way there would be just a link for them.

In case of a tie it will be based on hole-by-hole, Match Play scoring.

Thanks for helping me clarify these things Corwyn they completely slipped my mind.

    Update:
I tried to get the scorecards posted here but the amount of space that allows me to do it just doesn't work.

I have built a website for the scorecards only and am I now seeing if they are readable for you folks to see. What I have done is take the scorecard URLs posted in the "Tough-it-Out Tournament" and see if I can get them to fit side by side in the space that I have to work with and yes the scorecards will be posted by team-to team match ups. So it looks like all systems are a go.

Other than that being a big load off my shoulders I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Web address will be posted as soon as I am finished with the building process.

Here should be all of links that you will need for the tournament.

The link for the main bracket for the tournament:

    "March Madness"

The link for the losers bracket will be posted as soon as Round 1 is complete.

Here are the links for the submission forms for all 4 rounds:

    Round 1

    Round 2

    Round 3

    Round 4

    Where to send the scorecards:

mnshiner or if this is easier for you just copy and paste this into your email client
    WGTmnshiner@gmail.com

Web site where all scorecards will be posted:

    2 Player Best Ball

All this information has also been posted on page 1 of this thread.

Don't forget the tournament starts this Sunday the 3rd of March.

I need someone to do me a favor if you would. Could you go to the website posted below and click on Round 1 and let me know if the scorecards I have posted there are clear enough for folks to read. I am really trying to make this tournament work and being able to see the scorecards clearly has been bothering me the last few days.

A slight strain on the eyes, but clear enough to read. Very good round, btw. You drove in the trees on hole #1? ;-)

Can u clarify what time zone Sunday 3rd March starts ?

My partner is many hours ahead of me, and I might be many hours ahead of you. So your Sunday may be my partners Tuesday, Monday for me and Sunday for you.

I'll check on that for you  You have all week to play your round it doesn't have to be on Sunday.

Edit: At the time of this post jeffacer62 is 12 hours ahead of you. So in 3 hours he is at 12:00 midnight or Sunday Morning the 3rd.
