I've been going to the WGT Community on the top of this page where you can play any hole on any course and trying to bounce a shot off of the bridge and over the "Suez canal" on the 14th hole at Royal St. Georges.. Has anyone ever seen that shot happen or made that shot.. If you don't know what I'm talking about equip yourself with unlimited balls and go try this.. If you manage to make it please save it.. It would be a hell of a highlight.. = )

With a tail wind of 10 or over it is possible with a R11 driver off the red tees.

    Really bouncing on the bridge?

I'm not even sure that has a (virtual) physical response, like some of the trees...

Came really close twice but darn it's frustrating to have to start all over or even play out the hole just to try it again. But definitely doable with the right wind and a driver that can cover 280 yards like my level 81 G20 club. Really fun trying to hit the bridge. Maybe WGT can add it to the hole in one shot for credits like Pebble Beach...LOL

I wasn't sure if there would be a response from that bridge but if the bal can stop on it I'm gonna guess it will bounce on it.. I've bounced a shot over the small bridge at Oakmont and even had the shot saved for quite awhile.. I'll continue to try and should it happen I will save it.. I'm gonna try right now.. lol..

I can't remember the number of the hole, but if you are talking about the par 5 on RSG that is about 330 off the Legend tees, then it can be done.   I had a high tail wind a few months ago and attempted to ease up on my driver and still hit it too far, the ball rolled across the bridge and end up about 5 yards on the other side of the burn.  I was not able to save the shot but I have seen it down 2 other times as well from more forward tees.

So pleased to see I am not the only peep trying to make it past  the troll to the other side.

Have been right to the edge a few times and rolled down beside it a couple without dropping in the stream.

Will still try most days at least once to make it..in fact bought the Nike's in the hope of some extra yardage to my usual spin Callie's.

I always go for it in normal game play and not tried the specific hole option with this one...am "working" RSG at the moment on my ..."Quest to be better than I currently am ,But not getting my hopes up" game plan.. very much the shot to look forward to for me each visit.

VGL indeed to all who have been and newly intend to make it across the troubled water.

May your balls fly true and land good too.

    Will ☺
