Not sure how these shots are making it across with only 288yds..I make it 312 to the front of the bridge alone..guess this is an easier shorter version of the shot.
I'll continue with attempting it in normal game play..But will have a go at it from, I guess, the single hole option and the shorter distance.
Why? Is the risk worth it in normal game play? You have a Tin Cup complex?
[Poster confession: yes I've tried it on occasion, lol.]
In general, my opinion is: The risk : reward ratio is too high! Your personal variables (spin applied, % meter power applied, selection of aiming point for the course conditions in play ...) added to the variables programmed into the game (VEM for your equipment, shifts in wind-speed and direction, ....) means way too many stars must line up to successfully pull it off.
Any star out of alignment, and chances are you're in the burn and lying 2, and looking at likely par at best, or bogey. Play the drive to just short of the burn, and the hole is a good shot at birdie (on in 2, or on in 3 from your favorite approach distance) or even eagle or albatross - if you're handy with your long irons and 3W.
