I have already written WGT twice (case #'s 00271861 & 00273333) but have had no reply?

I joined WGT on 12/22/12 and proceeded to accumulate 77 consecutive days play with bonus points until the blizzard of 2013 in Rhode Island when I lost power for 20+ hours and my consecutive days play status.  When my power was restored and I resumed play my consecutive days play had been reset to zero and since then I have lost considerable bonus awards that I feel WGT should adjust and restore to my account?

Point #1 to WGT Community:  Is my request to WGT correct/proper?

Point #2 to WGT Customer Service:  When can I expect to hear back from you?

    Thanks, Marshall

Icon please check up on the last 2 e-mails I sent too and let me know the score re: putting

Have already given up on one I sent 11 days ago...what's happening over there ? You're normally pretty prompt.

    Please consider:

    1) Which other refunds (unrelated to contractual agreements like insurance) do you expect from companies whose fault it wasn't that the blizzard struck you? Car dealer? Phone company? Grocery store?

    2) Which relevance do 2440 XPs have for you? You "lost" three days worth of points which have no commercial value and 77 days "concecutive" count which might give you minimal bragging rights - what do you consider your damage?

    3) I congratulate you that you can focus your concern to such gaming issues only a week after that blizzard - everything else o.k. then for you and your community!?!

You'll hardly ever find me defending WGT, but in this I ask myself how WGT became responsible for your power-loss ?

    Hi there

They must be pretty backed up over there, a couple of days ago I received a reply to a mail I sent a month and had actually forgotten about.

So at that pace, you are about 2-3 weeks away from receiving a response. :-)

    Hope not, Good luck.

    Hello everybody,

I just send an email to WGT yesterday and received the answer today. Some topics are easier and faster to answer than others, some might also be more relevant than others. In this particular case, I think that the refund of experience points because of the forces of nature is not possible for WGT as you would mark a precedent case by that. To help every player with this "problem", WGT neither has the man power to control/check all the demands nor the duty to do so.

I hope everything else is fine for you and yours after the blizzard and that i could help you with your question.

    Cheers, Hans

Thanks to you and all for replies - looks like this goes to the same place as loss of power and cable/internet service charges for power out time - authority without responsibility (not to be confused with taxation without representation).  It was easy to focus on gaming issues/bragging rights sitting in candlelight with no electrical entertainment.

Mother nature kindly cooperated to lighten the burden with 50+ degree days following blizzard to accelerate snow melt and ease digging out of parked cars - all's well that ends well as it always does.

Heres another thing I was curious about. Sorry for posting on this thread but it looked like the best place.

Was playing an alternate shot game and on #14 BPB.  From the tee it was 489 yards. My partner hit a 285 yard drive so that should have left us 204 yards but our next shot showed us being 241 yards out. Anybody else ever have this experience?
