    Hi im Stefanie

    I would like to ask if it would be possible to add a new option to play in the country clubs or regular play

    1 - Best ball tournaments where you can team up with another player and play a best ball match against two other players , would be prferable to do it within country clubs since there too many people that quit during a regular play game

    And

    2 - Create  multi country club best ball tournaments where we could team up with 4 members from our own club and posts scores and compete against other foursomes of other clubs with the option to put an entry fee or free like the actual club settings

    Thank's Stefanie

    You can do Best Ball tournaments. If you decide the teams beforehand just have the members post their scorecards. and calculate the scores. It could work but, it won't be as fin as having real best balls and scrambles and things like that.

    yess i know ...

    Thats why i asked to make a real best ball game to be able to shoot from the same position your partner landed ...this way it would be a real best ball tournament

    Thanks for your comment

    We will definitely be adding more modes of play in the future and we also are considering plans for certain club vs club events and challenges.  Plenty more in store. =)

    Hi Stefanie ... Great idea which we have asked for quite a bit.   And the folks have answered your questions in the manner they were asked.   But just a bit of clarification.

    In Golf .. Best Ball means you play 2 on 2 and pick the best score for your teams score on each hole.   So if 2 players on team A shoot 3 and 4 ... and their opponents on team B shoot 4 and 5.   The scores which count are 3 and 4 ... and Team A wins the hole.

    It is often confused with a "scramble".   In a scramble, each player tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected and all players play their second shots from that spot. The best of the second shots is determined, then all play their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed.    I believe it is called a scramble because in a 4 person game after the tee shot ... all players "scramble", pick up the balls they will not play .. and meet back at the ball which they choose to play.

    Thanks

    Hi;

    For over a month now I have been setting up a 2-man team ( best ball challenge ).  It seems to be working well.   Basically it is a High / Low handicap (or rating) verses.  An example would be;   (4 players),player #1 (64.46)  Player #2 (67.89) Player #3 (77.77), & Player #4 (78.39).     Pair up the highest & lowest  (#1 &  #4)  vs  (#2 & #3).  If there is  enough of a difference in the (total) rating, such as  #1 @64.46 + #4@78.39 = (143.85) and #2 @67.89 + #3 @77.77 = (145.66).   Then subtract the diff. 145.66 - 143.85 = (1.81) divided by 2 =0.905 rounded off to 1.   So, that team would get 1 stroke on the hardest handicap hole.   Also as a bonus you could award 2 (points or wins) for an eagle, or a hole-in-one.  I would very much like to have some feedback from WGT on this via e-mail.
