I've seen players that will open the lobby to "anyone", yet continually boot people without a word.  It's happened to me plenty of times.

Now, I'm not talking about the L1/150s who literally have wet ink in their e-mail from the sign-up.  I've been playing for a while, average in the 70s, am to Pro tier, etc.  I've been kicked by people below me.

I would like to see this remedied.  Perhaps if you boot 3 times/people before you start your game, you're forced to sit out 5-10 minutes as a small punishment.  I mean, let's face it - if you're booting a ton of people when you claim it's open to "anyone", you really don't want to play that badly, do you?

I think this should only be an issue when playing for credits, but what may reduce this problem a bit easier (especially from the programmer's standpoint) is by adding to the "player rank" option on the create game screen. Right now you can choose "any", "pro+", "master+", ect. If they were to add the choices of "pro-", "master-", ect. I beleive it would reduce the problem. What i have expirienced many times when trying to set up a skins or blitz game have had 2 or 3 players near my ability (tour pro) and then a legend pops in. The main problem with that is if u remove them it takes your "tee off" button away until another person joins which can take a long time and usually it is the same legend that pops back up because they are looking for a game.  Without changing the "player rank" option and implementing your remedy would force some players to basically give credits away to superior players or wait awhile to then again try creating a fair game with the potential of the same situation occuring. I'm not sure how much you have tried creating your own games but it is just as common for players to remove themselves from your game for various reasons as it is to get booted when trying to join one.

I think it is a fantastic idea, for credits only or not, if you set up the game and just constantly boot people you should have to sit out 10 minutes.

I get the reason why a pro would boot a legend lvl 90 and above, but when you get booted by higher level same teir and lower average I say WTF are they looking for.

Perhaps the ability to limit the choices to same teir.

People have a right to be selective about their opponents.  The solution, if you don't want to get booted, is to start your own game and then you can play with whomever joins.

well, if folks attempting to join a match had a choice rather than being placed in the same room again and again then I'd 100% agree.

bottom line, system flawed - big time

Personally I have no problem being booted or booting someone. I do think there should be an option of allowing certain tiers however..

We all have the choice, the player setting up the game and the player joining whether you boot them or they leave. I know it can be frustrating waiting but this is what friends lists are for - I usually play with friends only as randoms are far too unreliable in my experience.

When we had the percentages next to our names, it was very clear that someone under 70% would not see out a game (similar to red now),  - as the host you have the right to allow who plays and who doesn't, its as simple as that.

I agree, it can be frustrating at times to get a game going. i too have wondered "what the heck do they want to do?",  but i dont understand the logic of having a "time out". i would assume that someone trying to join a game wants to play and obviously someone who has created a game wants to play, but for various reasons the games don't match up with what everybody wants to do. However, the idea of me creating a game and being forced to accept someone into my game or have a "time out" makes no sense.

...oh i forgot...for me friends often are not available. i don't like setting up a game and then taking a friends credits either(not sure why). i'm always happy when they invite me, and i take their credits though! also, i have tried the "best match" option many times and it almost never works to get a game going.
