ball in water

  I think you would sell more golf balls if you didn't take them away when hit in the water or weeds.  Many of the good balls are quite pricey and it's tough when we lose them for misjudging a little wind or getting a bad bounce.  Something to consider but personally I won't be purchasing any more balls.

  It basically boils down to effective, or ineffective course management and being aware of when and where to allow more room for error..

  When I play for real I'm always amazed on water holes by duffers that get an old ball out of their bag.

  In their mind they are already subconsciously justifying/planning hitting that ball into the water.

  I give  SE61 a lot of credit. He took ownership of being the reason the ball went in the water. We don't hear much of that.

  The better balls cost more and they perform better. It's a balancing act of cost vs performance and as we move up the ladder the priorities change along the way.

  SE61, let me know if the ball in your bag now is the same kind that went in the drink or if you've already changed it out? I'd like to help you out a little.

  Very true, I used the starters equipment for my first year, priority was ro play as well as I could. Then I made masters tier and joined the ongoing upgrading lol. But that is my choice to try and get better, But I still use cheaper balls like the Srixons (but some days Max balls - depends on my reflexes lol)

  I agree with Apex too, I see the duffers change to a dud ball when water comes into play, and know exactly where that ball will end up lol.

  LOL Kevin, been asked for many times and fallen on deaf ears.Would be a good way to at least keep us punters from fuming each time a ball finds the water and still generate income for WGT

           ok kevin this could be idea of the year . seems the balls i hit in the water are always new and this is about the only way you could get me to buy one of those useless golf bags (*¿*)
