Your right...have just finished reading all posts in this thread and have been impressed by the honesty shown by many a member. This is my first post and for me is a bit of courage as I normally would prefer to be silent. In brief, just a few words... i'm 78 and not long given up the game of golf when I soon realised that most golfers were using a short iron to approach the green and I was pulling out a 3 wood. So the alternative...I found WGT and now am hooked. What an alternative for an old geyser like me, can once again take on the young (which most members probably are to me lol) my drive is alongside sometimes ahead sometimes just behind but the thrill is there, oh oh, the approach, okay now pulling out an iron but that indicator you have to use for distance and accuracy, well its not quite good to use for a finger on the mouse from a shaky old hand. Oh well cant have everything  but OMG do I enjoy playing.

My name is Steve. I am 50 years old, married but separated with two young girls 14-18 and a  vasectomy, that i did not even feel. The ice pack they gave me after was more uncomfortable. I have been living with my partner for 14 years now, she has 2 kids B-G 18- 20 also from a previous marriage. 2 weekends per month we were like the brady bunch and the cost for the ex and the kids is a set of new pings per month. LOL Not all the kids come all the time now, but when they do I feel truly blessed. I also have a stupid dog, but he's smart like a fox, and i really like my almost daily afternoon nap with the dog.

I'm a compensation specialist, basically I assist companies to determine fair and equitable wages for those companies that give a hoot.

Although I smoke, drink, gamble, do drugs (well mary jane if that counts as drugs), play golf and have a really good time doing all the above, I'm healthy, but not fit, but not completely out of shape either.

I believe in the "secret", not religious, but not anti religion. I firmly believe only stupid people, ultra religious, and the super rich vote right wing, and wish the stupid people would move their vote to the left and rid us forever of right wing governments. Here's a stat, 73% of people with IQ's of less then 80, vote right wing. Jesus Murphy, really, I get frustrated just typing that.

As for this website, I like this golf game, but I really do not like when the clubs start flying a stupid yardages, I do not find that challenging I find it frustrating. I take a break when the clubs behave badly for consecutive days and rounds and find things settle down.

This is the best thread ever, very good read.

Awesome to see new posts in the last few days, great reads.

As for age I played golf I have the honour of playing with a couple of "elderly" members of my clubs a few years ago. The eldest was 94 by memory and yes my short iron was his 3 wood lol. His advantage was he was dead straight lol. But we had a lot of laughs, heard some great stories and to top it off, the oldies all shot below their age.

    Hi Esssy

It's no good keeping writing posts when nobody can see em....  except if they go to our emails.
