  Renni , certain people  upset ..........              who cares  ,honesty  on this thread can not be  shaking   in my book .     You started this thread  ,it made more good  for honest   people.  And it will be reed by members  who  falls on this great  Thread .  And some like us  will share ,  where  by sharing we dont care  if they like us or not  ....... :) We (I)hope  we just be  liked for our honesty .      Frapp

  While the sentiment of the thread is nice I would reserve it for the country club forums or privately among friends.

  I'm not trying to be cynical but 'let's be honest' the very idea of honesty over the internet is fairly ambitious.

  While there are a few honest folk who wish to divulge their life story, many will use the opportunity to create fiction. There is little way to discern between what is true and what isn't so you have to take everything you read with a pinch of salt. In that case is there much point?

  There may be accounts which are anything but honest and there may be those who just embellish the facts.

  So very true PR. All we can do is have a little faith in our fellow man and woman. I am friends with many of the respondents of this post. We keep in touch through pm's or in some cases even real life phone calls. I for one hope Honesty is key here, but like you said, anyone can say whatever here and we have no real proof. I am 100% exactly as I described and welcome anyone on WGT to stop by for a visit. If your ever in Atlanta, Ga. I live 21 miles south of the city. I will gladly pick you up and we can shoot the bull. You can meet my pet squirrel I have in the house, play with my 26 lb Mainecoon cat and meet Coco my chocolate lab. Drink a cold Yuengling and smoke a Camel blue if so inclined. Up until 3 weeks ago I had 2 pet squirrels, Panama Willie went to the big Oak tree in the sky. Old age got him just like it is getting me.

  PR, you haven't been around long enough to be so cynical. The old timers are mostly very honest and straight forward, you should go to your cc and get some real insight!

  PR , We have the same  Thread  in our CC.   But  this here tread on WGT ,was made for people who would like to share ,not to impress anyone , not to be popular , but to be honest  and tell us all that many storys,many members  are the same its called life , from reading everything again on this thread ,i can not find  life storys i don,t beleive in ......  and what is best  no one  as force me to share ,i did  cause it made me feel good and some how  normal .  Maybe in the back of my mind  we are telling members  who play golf on WGT , that it does not take a perfect human being to play and enjoy this game , some here are sick,some alone, single parents, older man and woman 60+  ,    Even if some are not  honest  99%  of members sharing on thisThread did it, cause they felt like it .  And ty  for that .

  I have enjoyed reading each of the short bio's here and have no reason or desire to dis-believe them. I wish I had something to add to it, but at 26 my supply of bon mots is still wanting.

  Since I started this thread over a year ago we have had so many responses. I wish I could meet each and every one of you in person for a big handshake or hug, whichever you prefer. My goodness what a party we could have. We would have plenty of designated drivers, cooks, entertainment, our own band. If anyone got ill Bubba could take care of that with his medicinal herbs, Francois would claim to be sick the whole time. Canine could bring his 4 legged kids for perimeter security, no one would crash our party. All us old guys over 62 could just set and talk about the what ifs in our lives. I would have to stay away from the pool if all the girls showed up. My heart probably wouldn't be strong enough to handle it. Andyson could bring his team of reporters and have the entire reunion documented for prosperity. Of course OPY would be at the pool trying to convince all the ladies that he is Verified and Reformed and Whatnot and so forth. If a moose was wondering around the feed tent, not to worry we all know he is harmless and just one of us. Any doubters would be once and for all cured of any dis-beliefs. The non posters would be banned from the party and never know what they missed. Somebody start working on a central location somewhere in the world and let's do this. Could you imagine? WOW
