  Hello Everyone.  My name is Henry Kawa.  I used to come to the forums a long long time ago.   I promised never to come back.   After all this time, I would like to ask permission of everyone who comes here, if I should come back.   I will abide by the popular vote.  If 8 ppl say come back and 9 ppl say STAY AWAY.  I will stay away.

  To update everyone on myself.  I have retired from the police service after 37 years.  I had my 60th birthday and my wife and I celebrated our 35th Anniversary.  I lost 24 pounds since I used to frequent this thread.   I work out every day and eat healthy.   I am a mean physical machine ready to take on the world, travel and start spending some of my millions I've worked so hard for.

  Rich, I'm not trying to jack your thread, I haven't been on in weeks and if WGT has done something and I haven't seen it then it's my fault for not seeing it and I apologize. If they still haven't done anything to honor him then I have to honestly ask...why not?

  I'm planning on canceling the "5th Annual 12 Days of Christmas" this year because of WGT's inaction. Why should I gather the troops and pour money into the WGT coffers when they won't do something as simple as push a couple of keystrokes and elevate Andy to the honored position that he so rightly deserves.

  Rich I'm so sorry for posting this here...but I'm just being honest.

  Nothing tangible has been done to honor Andyson. This issue has been raised in several threads, and supported by a large number of players who frequent the forum. 

  The problem with this format is that we sometimes preach to the converted. I'm not sure if the Mods are even reading the threads, as they have been generally quiet as of late.

  If one of the players knew a Mod..was friends with him or her...perhaps going direct would be the best course of action.

  I have made numerous inquiries, but, have not heard anything definite as of yet. It appears this is not a decision that can be made by the Mods. it's got to be kicked upstairs. Unless, and until someone in upper management takes action, everything is in limbo. Unfortunately, what should have been done a long time ago, still, has not been done.

  What are guys trying to do ?  If you are trying to get him upgraded to Tour Champion then yes WGT will have to do that . If you want to have a memorial tournament in his name then that is very possible ,  The Bushwackers had a tournament a while back and we put up 10,000 credits for the purse  ,

  The WGT community and its players can do the same thing ,  What you need to do is have one person with all the credits in his or her account , That way WGT can take those credits and put them in the tournament purse , They don't want to take credits from a bunch of people and I don't blame them , 

  Elect someone to collect the credits , WGT takes the credits and makes a tournament in Andysons name ..  It can be done , 

  We can do something on our own !   Its up to you guys ...    Don't wait for WGT .

  When Leo Phiber passed away, our CC requested that he be made a "Tour Champion". The only other TC at that time was Icon. To this day, they remain the only two.

  WGT acted very quickly on our request, and Phiber was elevated to the TC tier in a few days. 

  Granted, this was before the TopGolf  take-over, but it doesn't make sense that a simple request, costing nothing, would require high level authority. TC has never been used for its intended purpose. This is why I suggested it be used as a de facto memorial for those who have made a substantial and positive impact on the wgt membership.  

  I am not a conspiracy theorist, but the inexplicable lack of action by wgt indicates there is something amiss. In fact, a good friend of mine offered to personally fund a tournament in his honor...the Mods said no?

  Although Andyson was beloved by most of the players, the Mods have said very little, other than the obligatory "sad news...RIP" stuff.

  This is a very good point. Which has been raised a few times before. Early on I mentioned  that while a memorial tournament would be an excellent idea, things like that take time to get organized, while on the other hand, promoting Andyson to "Tour Champion" should have taken no time at all. Apparently, I was sadly mistaken.

  I don't understand why they wont make a tournament in his name if it is funded by the WGT community ?  I agree he should be made a Tour Champion . 

  Ill send WGTChampion a message  and see what he says about a tournament ?
