hi all, on game I'm Kilkenny13 name comes from Louis Lamour  a character in some of his novels not from south park. never watched the show. I'm 62 use to play a lot of golf, can't do it much now since my 2 heart attacks and 2, 3way bypasses. They just put 4 stints in since one of the bypasses from last one didn't take well. And accually I feel better now than I have for a very long time. So I thank the Lord for my life, I also had I think the best heart Doctor in northern Calif. Doctor Nakita Gill she very good at what she does.

Our daughter died of leukemia 2 days before thanksgiving 5 years ago so this time of year is a still sad a little hard for my wife and I. She left us 2 very special grandsons. My wife is the greatest wife a man could have, been together 39 years come March 27.  I also joined the game last March. I really like this game although it can be very frustrating just like the real thing. God Bless to all and have a Merry Christmas.

    Kk

    Hi, all.

I'm 54. I'm a programmer working for a very small company. We have a software package for tire dealers (point of sale and accounting). We're small but we're one of the top 5 packages in the industry.

I live with my wife of 17 yrs and two daughters (oldest is my step-daughter). We met on AOL back in '95. I lived in So. Cal at the time. I visited during Labor Day weekend that year and I moved here (San Antonio) at the end of that month. We got married 9 months later and had a daughter a year after that.

Our youngest is 16 now. She's been the joy of my life. For the last year, she's been suffering from severe anxiety and depression. She's even tried to kill herself a couple of times, though only very half-hearted attempts (thankfully). The last year has been a huge struggle but we just take it one day at a time.

I joined back in May but only played one round and then left it alone. I picked it back up in August and found myself addicted after a couple of months.

I started using better balls, with some spin, and with a lot of practice, managed to make Tour Pro earlier this month. I took the next step and spent some coin on a driver (Ping G10) and shot the best 9 holes ever (32) in the second round using the new driver. It's amazing what a little distance can do for you.

I've met some good people through some stroke and match play rounds. Every round has always been a pleasure. I think I play better with others than by myself. I don't know if it's the company/competition or the different rhythm of playing, i.e. waiting for others, but I've shot some of my best golf on those rounds.

A special thanks to Opyeuclid for the gift of two wedges earlier this month. They've taken a little getting used to, but they've saved me many a stroke already.

Hope to catch up to some of you out on the course.

    -Rob
