  An American dentist paid $50,000 and used a bow and fking arrow and it took Cecil 40 hours to die!!!! He then blamed the guide for baiting the wrong lion! 

  Hunt sh!t in your own fking country and leave our precious wildlife alone!

  I'm pissed off about this too, the whole concept should be against the law. who the hell has the right to collect money for someone killing an animal. Lion, Tiger, Elephant, even a white tail deer, whatever. I hunted years ago until I realized what a barbaric damn ritual it was. Any how, what does this actually have to do with the Let's be Honest thread? Just asking.

  well here i am in minnesota .... where the dentist is from .... he can not get near his office or home ... I am all against it but it appears that he is not the problem, the problem is his guides who knew better .... they are the ones that need to be strung up ... i have also heard that the lion was actually very old and may have not made it another year anyways .... save a dog or a cat in your neighborhood and let the zimbabwe govt. take care of the lions.

  I hope it works out, old or not Cecil should still be roaming around. May the guilty pay and the innocent walk away. As far as governments, I don't trust a one, especially the one in the USA. I served proudly in the US military but wouldn't today. I would serve if needed, but not proudly. We have let this country go totally to hell or worse. Greed, Greed. lies and more lies. And we have given it away to every damn country who wants a piece.  Renni upset? Hell Yes.

  Shame about the lions.

  Approx 21,000 human beings die every day from starvation, where's the outrage over that?
