Pebble beach 9th hole approch?

  Been playing a couple of month's and playing to have fun,  but I have found myself alittle frustrated with this last hole on the front 9. I would appreciate any tips that could help me improve my game.

  Pebble #18, 230 yds over that bunker, a nasty shot for everyone, and more so with Amateur experience and mostly Starter gear.

  I know there are some who shoot close but to me (and you probably) it looks like hit&hope. Making notes about the different trys helps, and if you do so, watch out for ground areas of special reaction...
