when u are in game,if u run out of a certain ball,eg,,callaway, why does the game make u use the unlimited balls, even if u have other ball  types in your inventory...ALSO .. there is no way of knowing how many hits u got left on the ball, untill yr in game ???

this would be a great help,,so i dont have to play half a round with rubbish balls, when i have sirixons or nike balls in my inventory.

    thx

    hi

the rules prohibit changing balls, so only balls you can use the kind you have now and base balls.

If you want to see how many hits you have left on a ball b4 playing a tournament or match, you can just start a practice round, take a look and then end the game.

So many members talk smack about the unlimited ball.. Granted they're weak compared to the balls you buy from the pro shop.. How ever they're free.. So thank you WGT.. I appreciate the fact that there's always a ball to hit in my bag..

What rule would that be. If you aren't supposed to change balls in the middle of a game, but it is okay for you to change us back to the unlimited one, what difference does it make if you allow us to access the same ball we were using. This makes no sense and can ruin a good game. You hardly stick to the rules of golf in other areas, such as dropping into a hazard. We should be able to bring the ball back as far as we want as long as it is in a straight line. So why apply to this other rule you have.

There's no choices of play in this game - why introduce the ball choice? Imagine the hustle, the programming effort, the whining when it would fail to work...

So, buy new balls in time - there's a warning on the last ball in your "bag". Yes I know that this is to the company's profit. And when you come to regard ball costs as a green fee it doesn't feel too bad.

The fallback to Starters is a courtesy to us (no choice included) - Pros would be DQed.

While I agree that there are quite a few unfavourable drops in rough etc, you'll have to prove a drop in a hazard (acc. to the rules this is water and bunkers) - I don't know any.

Don't point to KIA #17 please. There's a drop in hard sand in front of the Legend tee and another one on the opposite side of the lake. Mind you that Kiawah sand is not a bunker unless marked (in RL!) - this applies at #17 AFAIS.
