Could we have a friend request button on each players entry on CC members list?

I think I asked this before, but wouldn't it be better if "unlimited play" meant that the new score replaced the old score, regardless of which is higher?

It would make these free weekly tourneys a WHOLE lot more interesting. Say you shoot a good score early in the week, but by Friday you're down to 40th place. Do you leave it and just get the handful of credits, or risk what you've already got to try for a better place?

Not only would you possibly move up by shooting a lower score, but also by someone above you wiping theirs out and landing below you. Decisions, decisions.

Or, just leave it as it is and have everyone restarting if they don't birdie the first two holes. THAT'S exciting, and exactly like golf! Oh...wait...

We have asked for this for years.Show what holes we have and have not hit the pin on for every course.

I second Slammer23's request. Great idea, and I would request the same for CC tournaments too.

Now that is one hell of a good idea.

I can't be bothered to wade through 29 pages.  Has anyone suggested the option to replay the ball from it's original position after hitting OOB, water and so on?

That can't be difficult to implement, it's basically a mulligan with a shot penalty.  Since we now have mulligans I would have thought it's easy enough to do.  Hitting the water on Kiawah #17 and then having to play your 3rd shot from rough is stupid.  Congressional #11 has another example of a crazy drop zone, replaying the shot would often be preferable.

It is a very good idea. But people will just restart the round before it's finished to prevent posting a worse score...or at least, that's what I would do! But that comes with a penalty of ball usage and not getting your XP's.

In the past, I've been guilty of restarting quite a bit in the 9 hole unlimited tourneys - until I tiered up and needed to get new equipment that was like 10 levels away. At that point, XP was worth a lot more than posting a slightly better score.

edit: I guess in your proposed Unlimited Tournament, there would be no ability to restart. Finish or forfeit. I like it.

Nah, you could restart - result is that you now have NO score until you finish again.

    WGT, care to comment?

Probably already mentioned, but here goes:

After reading Sweetmiffys post about a particular ad on her profile, I thought I'd float this out there.

    WGT Premium Membership.

Buy a membership to play WGT as a premium member for a specified length of time. Membership would be paid by "real" money, not WGT earned credits. As a premium, members would be afforded an ad-free playing experience and some other goodies like maybe pro shop discounts, more avatar options, customizable(and ad free) profile pages, more replay space, etc, etc.

This is something that WGT should look hard at doing. I think most serious members would pay extra for this, and WGT would still have more than enough ad revenue from the free users. People are put off when they're still being bombarded with ads after paying sometimes hundreds of dollars of their hard earned cash to play this "free" game.

Please no responses about ad-blocks and browser extensions. That misses the point entirely and most users aren't exactly computing experts.

I would like to play with the perfect golf ball.

You build it, and I will buy it. The perfect ball should be called "blagoja" because I'm a legend ;)
