Fluttering Flags on the Greens

  I was truly excited at the recent addition of fluttering flags on all the greens, by the WGT. However, I have noticed that these flags are no more fluttering . The addition, besides bringing in a sense of realism on the virtual golf courses, helped to identify greens / location of holes from far distances and also help golfers in gauging the direction and speed of the wind, as in the actual game of golf. I would request the WTG authorities to re-introduce these flags and also to consider removing the data given at the top right corner of the game screen regarding the direction and speed of the prevailing wind. Let the players judge the speed and direction of the wind by closely examining the fluttering flag. For example a very fast wind will fly the flag at 90 degrees while no or low wind by  a sagging flag and so on. Just a suggestion to bring in more challenge and excitement in these games. Any views?

  the flags have an option to turn them off or on. go to menu, game settings and scroll down to flags, turn them on or off. hope this helps

  Once you turn them back on like above all you're going to see is generic flapping. The direction is not consistent with the wind nor is the direction and is virtually useless. Nice touch but for show only.

  dude..I went to game settings..and I didn't see anything about turn flags off or on..Is it the aerial cams?..is that like the same thing?...what up?

  in game settings there will be an option-- flag animations  on or off.

  Just a caution - flag animation can cause some meter stutters so I prefer to have as few options enabled as possible.

  Why go through that when a simple instruction works? The guy already knew how to get there.
