    saltiresfan:

Completed that round with 4 eagles, 4 3 putts and 3 putts missed from less than 2ft.

Wow... IMO under 2 (or even 3) ft the best way is "going for the kill", i.e. aiming 5-6 ft, which is pretty hard to miss (unless the ding is missed very badly).

Nice seeing a Tour master shoot a 55 at the last Kiawah full 18 RG after only having been a member here for less than a month...

And argh... was just 1 inch away on #18 from scoring a 50... :/

I just got absolutely slaughtered by VEM. Av dist to pin of 12ft and I only missed about 5 dings on approach shots all round.

I only scraped a 58 by holing several big putts!

    Wow - there was a 50... Congrats!

Perhaps if I post less on this forum, my luck may improve a bit... :]

You just shot a 51 so it's not all bad. I think I just used all my anti-VEM luck in the Olympic F9 RG shooting a 26.

For me the "playing luck" goes pretty much in clusters. When I feel like in good shape (not stressed, excited, tired or drunk:)) the scores are the best. And a good round on a small RG is usually a sign for a good round on the 1000er. Though for the latter, starting well (-5 or better after the first 4 holes) is key, as it removes the pressure...

Now I was certainly out of "score luck", as when I first made a 52, I lost on the tiebreaker, and now with a 51 lost to a 50... :/

The scores needed to win some credits in some of the ready goes are insane. I'm not talking about winning the tournament, just to make some profit!!!

My last 20 ready goes I have averaged 13.5 under for 18 or 6.75 under for 9 holes and I have barely made a small profit. Time to put in the hours again to become competitive :(

If you shoot a 54 in the 1000 cr Cabo full 18 RG...you LOSE money, how ridiculous is that?
