Tiger Pulled Off MY Shot on 15...

     Yesterday at Augusta National ... Tiger Woods hit the flagstick on 15, reversing the ball flight back into the pond guarding the front of Firethorn's green.

  On Feb. 21st, 13, I hit the flagstick with my 2nd shot on the 1st hole at St. Andrew's... Our flagstick hits and resulting back-splashes ARE Identical... similar yardage, 3/4 wedge in...even the height at which we hit the stick and the angle (back to the left) into the water...

  And only a 2 stroke penalty....only with tiger ay! pfft.

  Once again, controversy surrounds Tiger Woods. Some commentators are saying Tiger broke rule 26-1b and should be disqualified. Rule 33-7 is put in place to save a player from themselves. This is all the buzz at the Masters.

  Tiger's round to start at 1:45 EST.

  "Yes... it certainly does appear that Rule 33.7 (or the revision to Rule 33.7/4.5 if you prefer) that is best summed up as a "new (TV) technology rule" and was instituted by the PGA Tour in April of 2011 has INDEED saved him... the Master's Committee had reviewed the incident BEFORE the end of his round... so be it"

  I hope that the media and other players don't regurgitate this all weekend long... but i fear this is NOT going away... what a shame!
  

  (sigh, I didn't get to choose MY spot in the St. Andrew's drop zone)
