BtB is right, it was the G12-S ball, my bad. I use that when the round is unimportant and I am just racking up XP's.

But I insist that with the Nike or Cally, the 75% full BS flop will fly 12 yards and stop dead on 2nd bounce.

I also don't see what difference fringe or fairway makes, either way the lie should be perfect.

The fringe does make a difference. The ball travels 10% further in the air and skids more on landing.

    Further than what?

I always have a wry smile when comments such as your own are posted. How do you know the player in receipt of your razor sharp wit hasn't played 95% of their total games using basic starter equipment/balls?Instead, why not invite them to a game and enlighten them with any favourable tips I've no doubt you possess?Anytime I'm green feel free

I'm glad I made you smile. There was no intentional wit in my post, I was just trying to help as always. I would expect someone with 2,000 rounds of experience to have scramble stats of around 80%, I think these stats reflect a players general wedge ability as if they can't cope with a sand or rough shot they are probably no better from the fairway. I'm sure mine will be around there if ever I get around to playing that many rounds. I suggested finding a new system to the OP as it seems that he is just making the same mistakes and expecting differing results which does seem a little futile.

How me playing you would help the OP I have no idea and anyway I mainly only play people from within my country club. You're welcome to apply for membership if you wish but it is rather popular and you'd have to go on the waiting list. Have a nice day sir.

With all due respect sir you have played 2,000 rounds and if your scrambling stats are anything to go by you need to work out a new system.

    Well said.

These people who try to put others down always overlooking this point. I played a year with starter balls and clubs and no charts or putter pal. Then I start to play more serious.

Of course my stats not look good for 2 years but for last 6 months is real good. Statistics not tell all the truth.

Where? Check my last dozen posts, I'm trying to help people here. Some people just don't appreciate good advice. We all started with the starter stuff.

It is unfortunate the tone of the chat isnt shared in text.

I am sure Courteney mean no cheek, but we lose a lot in translation to txt when our inflections cant be heard.

    back OT,

I have also found in the last week or so , my flops arent as good as i usually do. I thought it was me.

That makes no sense to me. If it spends more time in the air,  should it not land at a steeper angle, with more spin?

    LMAO

'Miaow'  Retract the claws, Courteney.   You quoted what suited from my original comment intentionally omitting the 'peace' sign off. I merely proffered the suggestion of a game between us to show there was no malice intended by my reply.

FYI I'm a member of  rather fine CC at the moment and have no intention of applying for membership of another.

Within the confines of said CC we have an ongoing google.doc data sheet that tracks and updates monthly every single members stats allowing everyone to see each others progress, the results are rather eye opening - maybe an idea to consider for your own?

    Btw I'm done here.

You have a nice day now.

    :O)
